Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 has finally come out, and fans are excited about the recent events that transpired in the manga. The chapter began with Jura entering the battlefield as Araya retrieved the Thorn Soul Bulb that Ryu left behind. The leader of the Shinju paid no heed to them.

As revealed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, his focus was solely on Boruto. The protagonist was forced to intervene and take on Matsuri, who was just moments away from killing his mentor, Konohamaru. The Shinu entity was defeated, and she left behind a Thorn Soul Bulb.

A few moments later, in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, Jura flew at extremely high speeds since he had located his target’s whereabouts. He fired a Miniature Biju Bomb Sniper Shot, which nearly struck Konohamaru. Boruto asked his mentor to collect the Thorn Soul Bulb, regroup with Sarada Uchiha, and seek refuge in a safe spot.

As shown in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, Konohamaru barely escaped the Biju Bomb that came his way. Jura was quick on his feet, but he couldn’t anticipate Boruto’s Rasengan. The protagonist used the Flying Thunder God technique to sneak up on the Shinju leader. He managed to land a blow, but Jura appeared unfazed as he got back up instantly. The next panel showed Eida and Kashin Koji having a conversation.

They acknowledged the massive gap in their combat abilities. Furthermore, Kashin Koji revealed that Boruto is making himself a target so that Konohamaru and their comrades can safely take the Thorn Soul Bulb to undo the seal. If the fight goes on for long, then Jura will kill Boruto with little to no difficulty. Jura then inquires of Boruto about the concept of love. The leader of the Shinju views it as a weakness since it clouds their judgment and ability to decide the best course of action.

The protagonist, annoyed with his view on love, attempted to launch an attack. However, Jura used his Wood Release to capture Boruto. Moments later, we saw the protagonist using the Flying Thunder God technique to land a Rasengan Uzuhiko. This was his trump card, and he bet all his money on this one move. However, Jura managed to counteract its effects by understanding the concept of the Biju Bomb that he uses.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22: What is the protagonist’s next course of action?

Jura has clearly shown who the superior fighter is. There aren’t many scenarios that guarantee Boruto a win. However, there is one power-up that we haven’t witnessed in a long time. The power-up in question is a double-edged sword, and it was responsible for the destruction of Sasuke’s Rinnegan—Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

If he decided to let Momoshiki take over, we could see his true potential in the manga series. Furthermore, Momoshiki specifically stated that he wouldn’t let his precious vessel die. Based on how things stand in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, Boruto might let the Otsutsuki in him shine on the battlefield. However, the aftermath could be quite catastrophic since it’s unclear how much control he has over Momoshiki. This seems like the best course for the protagonists after losing to Jura during their brief skirmish.

In summation, Jura has entered the battlefield and taken control of the situation. Boruto is simply buying time for his comrades to undo the seals on Moegi and Shinki. However, his opponent is Jura, the leader of the Shinju. Despite using Rasengan Uzuhiko, Jura managed to recover almost instantly. The trump card that he spent years developing isn’t effective, and only time will determine the outcome of this battle.
