Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is one of the most beloved manga currently being serialized, captivating fans with the protagonist's complex struggles, the growth of his allies, as well as the introduction of powerful new antagonists.

The recent chapters of the manga have seen tensions rise to their peak, as the main cast faces off against the indomitable Human God Trees - sentient beings created from the Ten-Tails. An early visual from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 reveals that the upcoming installment will finally feature Jura stepping onto the battlefield to confront Boruto Uzumaki.

If they fight, it will mark the biggest and most important battle in the entire Naruto universe, making it crucial to understand the stakes involved. Jura is the leader of the Human God Trees and the only direct descendant of the Ten-Tails, unlike his subordinates, who carry chakra signatures of other ninjas.

As the main antagonist of Two Blue Vortex, he is an endlessly curious individual with no particular ambition apart from developing his knowledge. At the same time, Jura’s moral ambiguity is what makes him fearsome. He is willing to kill others who interfere with his goals and is capable of defeating the strongest of fighters with little effort.

At his opposite end is the protagonist, Boruto Uzumaki. During the timeskip, Boruto had teamed up with Kashin Koji, Jiraiya’s clone, who possesses the ability to see multiple futures. In addition to training him, Koji also informed Boruto about the possible series of events that would lead to the creation of the Human God Trees.

More importantly, the situation that Koji feared the most was one where Boruto would face Jura. In many of the futures seen by the clone, Boruto would be killed by Jura, after which Kawaki would be devoured, and the planet would head towards its doom. As a result, Koji had relentlessly worked towards ensuring that his disciple would not encounter the leader of the Human God Trees.

Jura, on the other hand, was not happy that there were individuals who knew about the Thorn Soul Bulbs and the way to kill a Human God Tree. As a result, during the antagonists’ infiltration of Konoha, after Hidari had been beaten, Jura nearly killed Boruto with his Tailed Beast Ball.

However, he was stopped in the nick of time by Mamushi, who told him of a secret accomplice behind the protagonist. Wishing to track Kashin Koji as well, Jura let him live. The two did not meet since then, but chapter 21 of Two Blue Vortex hinted that the chaos may soon unfold.

In the latest installment of the manga, Konohamaru was in a perilous situation against the Human God Tree Matsuri. Boruto, who had been spying on their battle, decided to intervene despite Koji’s warnings. As his mentor went into an outrage, cursing Boruto for ruining everything, Jura sensed that the protagonist had entered the battle.

What to expect from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 sneak peek (speculative)

An early visual release of the Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 reveals Koji’s worst fears coming true, as Jura enters the same battlefield as Boruto. In a surprise, however, the Human God Tree does not show up near Matsuri, where the protagonist is present, but rather appears near Mitsuki through a Claw Grime.

Given that Sarada is unconscious at that location after using her Mangekyo Sharingan, all of the main characters’ friends are currently under threat. This may be a ploy by Jura to ensure that Boruto does not immediately retreat, as he would be forced to confront him in order to save his loved ones.

At the same time, readers may finally witness Momoshiki's return or see Boruto unleashing a new form of his power, as his current abilities are not enough to defeat the leader of the Human God Trees. Regardless of what is set to occur, fan expectations are through the roof since the results of this battle could determine the fate of the entire world.
