Dabura might be Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo's version of Gojo, not Sukuna

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo just pulled a crazy turn. The newest chapter has got everything about Dabura's cursed techniques exposed. How he uses power is completely different from how Sukuna uses his brute force. In fact, there's one character that Dabura's power systems that has only been seen once before in the series.

Dabura's two separate yet interconnected abilities in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo can be viewed as a complete power set, much like Gojo's Six Eyes and Limitless. His unnamed technique allows him to turn via a physical manifestation of killing intent, with the Light technique being an expression of speed and power. They won't be able to work at their full potential if they are not together.

Dabura's unnamed technique is similar to the Six Eyes. The narration actually supports this statement as "something Earth human wouldn't even be able to say." The ability of this technique is to take the intent to kill and create mass from it. Without it, his Light technique might be fast but ultimately harmless, just like how Limitless becomes useless without Six Eyes precision.

The combination of both techniques results in devastating power. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo shows this as Dabura's light beams go directly through Mahoraga without any effort. These attacks are as fast as the speed of light, yet they have mass as well. Gojo's Six Eyes enables the perfect control of the space at an atomic level. Dabura's unnamed technique gives mass to massless photons (light) while at the same time creating a mass that has physical weight.

Why Dabura Isn't Like Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

Sukuna is totally different from other sorcerers, due to his complete misuse of the Jujutsu System and the way he went about building his power using Binding Vows. While Sukuna was able to build his skills through manipulation of what was around him, Dabura was born with godly levels of talent.

Sukuna is the King of Curses, and he has built his power through eating everyone else's spells and using a simple plan to do this. However, Dabura was just plain lucky because of where he was born (the Deskunte family had incredible power). Comparing how Sukuna earned his place to how Dabura received his is what makes the stories of these two wizards unique.

The Dual Technique System

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo reveals that multiple characters have possessed two techniques. Earlier, Yuta had Copy and Rika. Kenjaku wielded Anti-Gravity, Body Swap, and Cursed Spirit Manipulation. Yuji also uses both Shrine and Blood Manipulation. Dabura follows this established pattern.

While his Light technique may appear to be nothing spectacular (as it is a swift form of movement with little or no damage), it will totally change its usefulness once it is combined with his unnamed mass-conversion ability.

As with Gojo, whose powers stem from the relationship between the Six Eyes and Limitless, the two techniques will enable Dabura to develop powerful techniques that "blitz" his foes upon reaching, inflicting massive damage upon impact.

Domain Expansion Speculation

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo demonstrates that some characters possess a mix of two different techniques: Yuta is equipped with both Rika and Copy. Kenjaku has Anti-Gravity, Body Swap, and Cursed Spirit Manipulation. Yuji currently has both Shrine and Blood Manipulation. Dabura will continue this pattern of development with his Light Technique.

Although his Light technique is lackluster (it provides quick movement, but not much damage), when combined with his unnamed mass-conversion ability, it produces an entirely new outcome. By using their Light and mass-conversion techniques in unison, Dabura can use his Light attacks against opponents at extreme speeds, inflicting devastating results. This type of combination reliance is directly related to the Six Eyes-Limitless connection, which provides Gojo's power.

As such, Mahoraga's power to adapt in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo offers Yuka a good chance of having a strategy against the rapidly arriving, building-destroying attacks. However, this opportunity is only available if Yuka is able to keep the general alive long enough for him to go through the adaptation process.
