Dandadan Season 2 Episode 4 is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, at 12:26 am JST. This will be a Friday. What to expect from Dandadan Season 2 Episode 4?

Dandadan Season 2 Episode 4 will majorly follow Momo Ayase’s efforts to stop the volcano’s magma from damaging the village by ingeniously using the Tsuchinoko’s corpse. At the same time, she will face several hurdles as the Kito Family try getting in her way and the Evil Eye appears alone.

Meanwhile, as the house continues burning, Okarun and Turbo Granny’s lives are in immense danger, and saving them will take the combined efforts of Momo, Manjiro, and several other characters who make a surprising return.

Dandadan Season 2 Episode 3 recap

Dandadan Season 2 Episode 3 picks up right from the previous installment, where Okarun had confronted the Evil Eye. Immediately after blocking the yokai’s attack, he carried Momo and ran away. While escaping, both main characters realized that the Mongolian Death Worm had been spraying toxic venom, due to which they were under immediate threat.

However, since they were deep underground, Okarun decided to assist Momo in escaping first so she could get help. After Momo reassured Okarun that she would save him, the boy used Turbo Granny’s powers to kick Momo toward the surface, and she got to safety using her psychokinesis.

Once she was back at the house, Momo tried making a rope to extend down below, but it was too short. However, she suddenly realized another method of helping her friends and defeating the Tsuchinoko. As part of her plan, Momo set the house on fire and called the fire department.

Meanwhile, Okarun was confronted by the Evil Eye underground, and their battle continued. The protagonist was initially overwhelmed by the hateful spirit’s manipulation over grudges, suffering a brutal beatdown and even being trapped in a miniature cursed house.

However, angered by the Evil Eye hurting his friends, Okarun strengthened his resolve and delivered a powerful barrage of punches that finally knocked down his opponent, after which he fell down from exhaustion himself. Following this, the protagonist tried dragging the Evil Eye, but soon heard Turbo Granny, who was still stuck in the Tsuchinoko’s phlegm.

When he went to try saving her, Okarun slipped and fell in as well, leaving both of them reliant on Momo’s scheme. Back outside, Momo set her plan in action, having made the firefighters pour water onto the ground. She had remembered a past conversation with Jiji where he told her worms would suffocate after rain.

Due to this, they would be forced to come outside. However, when under the sun, the same worms would dry out and die, due to which it was called worm suicide. Momo used this same concept and succeeded in dragging out the Tsuchinoko, causing it to perish after it came in contact with the sun.

Dandadan Season 2 Episode 4 ends with the Kito family revealed to be alive, emerging from inside the dead Mongolian Death Worm. However, this is immediately followed by the village volcano erupting, which Naki claims happened because Momo killed the great snake.
