The One Punch Man fanbase has been pretty vocal about their feelings towards certain heroes. While the S-class heroes enjoy the most attention, there exists a C-class hero who has won over fans’ hearts. This hero is none other than Mumen Rider. The manga just entered the Neo Heroes saga, and that’s when we’ll see Mumen Rider receive his power-up.

As mentioned earlier, Mumen Rider was in the C-class category because his physical abilities were average at best. However, Mumen Rider gets recruited by the Neo Heroes organization. This happened when the Hero Association's credibility had taken a hit. The public was quite upset with the amount of damage that the heroes inflicted.

Neo Heroes started recruiting plenty of members from the Hero Association, and Mumen Rider decided to join the organization since they promised him a power-up. The power-up in question came in the form of a suit. This suit enhanced Mumen Rider’s physical abilities, which allowed him to take on extremely powerful foes.

In fact, when he was first approached by Accel, he was advised to retire. Mumen Rider had sustained many injuries during his time as a hero. Furthermore, he put his life on the line on numerous occasions. However, the One Punch Man fan-favorite was offered a suit made by Accel’s organization, and this swayed his decision.

There isn’t much that is known about the suit. However, One Punch Man fans witnessed a feat that shocked them. Demon-threat level monsters are extremely powerful beings. Such beings often force the organization to dispatch some of the best A-class heroes and S-class heroes. Mumen Rider managed to not only defeat a Demon-threat level monster, but also managed to do so in just one hit.
