While no one takes him seriously, including his family members, and see his magic as worthless. It is his strategic thinking and resourcefulness that make him a formidable protagonist.

In Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord, our main character is backed up by M.A.O as Till, his loyal personal maid, and Mariya Ise as Khamsin, a devoted follower whose life Van once saved.
