The Enchanted Blades in Kagurabachi are the artifacts that define the series.
They are the ideal fusion of art and magic. These weapons forged by the legendary swordmaker, Kunishige Rokuhira, are not ordinary weapons used in war but the embodiment of spiritual power, with each having its own properties, curses, and elemental affinity. The Enchanted Blades in the lore of Kagurabachi are both admired and despised, as their creation involved knowledge of forbidden methods that make it unclear whether a human hand or a God is at work.
Every Enchanted Blade has a separate mind and spirit, capturing the core and intention of its maker, and the weight of its holder. The art of the Rokuhira lineage turned the act of forging into an art of magic, creating swords capable of bending the nature of things, directing the energies of elements, and even moving life and death. These were not weapons of mass production; they were individual weapons of ritual, of discipline, of purpose. Their influence reaches way beyond battlefields as they are the relics of the past that determine the ratio between authority and decency within the world of the series.
The myth of these swords started with Kunishige Rokuhira, who tried to combine traditional sword-making and high sorcery. This ambition saw the first Enchanted Blades born - each of them, with a distinct enchantment so strong that even other sorcerers classified them as living items. Many of his works were lost, stolen, or sealed after Kunishige died mysteriously, which forms the central conflict, propelling Kagurabachi forward. The fact that these blades are now scattered and used by both the good and the bad determines the destiny of the main characters in the story, particularly Chihiro Rokuhira, the son of Kunishige and the heir of his legacy.
Ranking of the Enchanted Blades of Kagurabachi.
5. Magatsumi (勾罪)
Most commonly known as Shinuchi (真打), this is the only enchanted blade not to have three primary abilities. Its powers include sealing contracts and the capability of restraining or chaining other sorcery powers. The name carries connotations of sin and binding, making it a weapon of control and punishment.

Used by Master Swordsman during the Seitei war, the blade manifests its energy in the form of flower fields and butterflies. It forms a black liquid, letting it drip on the ground to let flowers bloom. In one battle, Magatsumi was able to disable the active enchantment of the opponent during a duel and prevent a strong spell that was being cast. This is evidence of its tactical manipulation.
4. Kumeyuri (酌揺)
Wielded by Yoji Uruhua during the Seitei war, this blade fell into the hands of Hiruhika after the death of Yoji. This blade's power allows the creation of illusions and the manipulation of objects, with which the wielder can strike evasively and in unpredictable maneuvers.

The design of the blade is based on the movement of water and flowing energy. During a duel, Kumeyuri enabled its carrier to pass through a volley of sorcery arcs and make an assassinous strike back, demonstrating its adaptability.
3. Cloud Gouger - Kuregumo (刳雲)
Once very powerful, this sword was broken in the battle between Sojo and Chihiro. Its powers include storm and wind manifestation, releasing area-of-effect damage, and slicing winds. Depending on the techniques used by the sword wielder, its spirit energy manifests either in the form of various dragons or clouds.

It was one of the best war weapons during the Seitei War, and its spirit is still felt even after being damaged. Despite its broken state, the leftover spirit of Cloud Gouger shook the ground and caused damage to its enemies after moving, evidence that its spirit effect goes beyond its physical state.
2. Tobimune (飛宗)
It is actively used by a professional swordbearer, Seiichi Samura, and is in perfect condition. Its powers include Teleportation or spatial blink movement, where one can be instantly re-positioned. This is done through its spirit energy manifesting in the form of wings. According to the technique used, it can summon crows, owls, or even flames.

This blade is known to use the combination of speed and surprise in its methods. In one of the challenges that Samura faced while defending the Senkutsuji Temple, he sneaked behind his opponent and attacked with a blow behind the back. This was the testament that the spatial ability of Tobimune is not to be trifled with.
1. Enten (淵天)
Wielded by the protagonist, Chihiro Rokuhira, this blade is the main focal point of this series. Its powers include directing clouds, storms, lightning, projecting spirit power, and the ability to release spirit slash manifestations on its own. Enten was concealed beyond normal perception until recaptured by Chihiro; it was made late, as the last hidden blade crafted by Chihiro's father, Kunishige Rokuhira.

The blade's energy manifests in the form of various colours of goldfish depending on the technique used by Chihiro. Enten has been demonstrated to be able to release independent slash forms, manipulate elemental energy in fights, and increase the spirit power of Chihiro. Its position in the plot and its skills in several battles predetermine its status as the best sword among the Enchanted Blades.
The Enchanted Blades are the pillars of the mythos of Kagurabachi - the complex combinations of human feelings, spiritual power, and the art of metallurgy. The power of each blade is a tale of heritage, sacrifice, and the danger of creation without restraint. Be it in the grasp of Chihiro Rokuhira or the myriad of characters that are in search of their power, the Enchanted Blades still call the beat to which the events of the series unfold.
The rediscovery and revival of these arms as the plot progresses indicate the revival of a mythical past era. Their resurgence reflects the perpetual conflict between invention and destruction, creativity and fixation in the series. The Enchanted Blades are not sculptures to be gazed upon with hope, but living beings whose fates are interwoven with the ones who can use them. In every blow there is a tale, and in every blade the voice of the will of its maker lives forever.
