One of Boruto’s biggest strengths is the series’ world-building elements. A crucial part of world-building is the wide range of characters that affect plot progression. There are several antagonists in this series. Some had a massive influence on the main characters, while others weren’t as consequential. That being said, the villains that fall in the second category still had important roles to play. One such character is Delta from the Boruto series.

She was an inner member of Kara, an organization led by Isshiki Otsutsuki and Code. Another interesting fact about Delta is that she is a clone modeled after Akebi Sanzu. Akebi was Amado Sanzu’s daughter, who died from an unknown illness. Since then, he has spent all of his time trying to understand if there was a way to bring his daughter back from the dead. There were plenty of theories involving Akebi and Amado during the earlier parts of the series. However, Delta’s revelation put an end to that, at least momentarily.

In fact, Delta influenced the plot greatly during the earlier stages of the Boruto series. She was tasked with finding a child who would one day go on to become Jigen’s vessel. This is when she came across Kawaki. It was after their interaction that Jigen forcefully took Kawaki into Kara. That being said, Delta has since been reprogrammed by Amado Sanzu to protect Konohagakure.

Delta also expressed her hatred towards Amado in the Boruto series. She harbors ill feelings towards him despite being made up of his daughter’s genetic sequence. Delta has a low threshold when it comes to patience. On several occasions, she has lost her cool in the Boruto series. Furthermore, she develops tunnel vision during missions. The task at hand is the most important thing to her, and anyone who doesn’t behave that way will suffer her wrath.

Delta has a wide arsenal of attacks in the Boruto series, all thanks to her body modifications. In fact, her abilities allowed her to take on Naruto in his Sage of Six Paths Mode. This is no small feat, as it is one of his strongest transformations. Her eyes also grant her the unique ability to absorb chakra. She was able to absorb Naruto’s Rasengan, which allowed her to go toe-to-toe with the Seventh Hokage.

Furthermore, she can pass on her consciousness into another body through a Spy Drone. This drone, in particular, doesn’t have chakra and can therefore operate undetected. It also allows her to scan for targets that are invisible to the naked eye. Her role in the Boruto series can seem a bit confusing at the moment.

She is currently aiding the protagonist in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. She was introduced as a minor antagonist and has since helped the citizens of Konohagakure against the likes of Jura. Therefore, fans have reason to believe that she could play an important role in safeguarding the village and redeeming herself as a side character who has turned over a new leaf.

Delta was introduced as an antagonist who was an inner member of Kara. She is quite powerful, as she managed to take on Naruto in his Sage of Six Paths Mode. However, her role in the animanga series has evolved. She is now assisting the protagonist and other citizens of Konohagakure in the fight against Jura and other entities of the Divine Tree.
