What could be expected from Gachiakuta chapter 138?

Gachiakuta chapter 137 was an immensely important installment that introduced the main antagonist of the arc, Mymo. Having gained control of the entire audience at the Doll Festival through the chokers, he is presumed to be capable of manipulating them as desired.

With Rudo being asked by the Choker Maker to stop the villain and protect everyone, the protagonist will likely face his biggest test yet in chapter 138 of the manga. Those affected by Mymo’s powers have a distinctive symbol in their eyes, while the Cleaners and the Hell Guard do not have these.

As a result, these two opposing groups may also form a temporary alliance for the sake of assisting Rudo and stopping Mymo’s schemes.

Gachiakuta chapter 137 recap

Gachiakuta chapter 137, titled The Real Doll Festival, starts by featuring Mildretta and Agra, who were outside the Doll Festival and filling in during Semiu’s vacation. They soon sensed that their surroundings were on high alert, after which the Hell Guard approached and threatened them.

The scene then shifted to the Doll Festival, where participants were showcasing their talents. Rudo, who had received a special choker from Too Lily, began speaking with her mysterious friend, the Choker Maker. While hoping to get a clue on how to return to the sphere, Rudo was informed that he would destroy the Doll Festival.

The Choker Maker goaded him into getting rid of all the people at the auditorium, but Rudo firmly refused upon seeing the passion displayed by those on stage. Rudo then lashed out at the Choker Maker, telling him how he wouldn’t dance to his tune.

In a surprising turn, the Choker Maker responded that Too Lily hadn’t provided enough information to Rudo and that he was asking the protagonist to save the hall full of people rather than harm them.

The Choker Maker expressed how his chokers were being used by nefarious forces for the sake of ruling the world, and that the Doll Festival would be the villain's grand unveiling. With the power to rule, this enigmatic antagonist wished to use the communication devices on the chokers to control everyone.

Just as Rudo was informed of this, the villain was revealed to be none other than the news reporter Mymo. As he brought the entire arena to a standstill, the Choker Maker pleaded with Rudo to save everyone.
