What Can You Expect from Gachiakuta Episode 20?

Last episode, we found out the whole crew is trapped inside a huge, fake trash monster. What a twist! This totally changes the game, going from Cleaners being forced to fight in a war against humans to now, where everyone is super happy and ready to fight in their true nature. Guita is exceptionally enthusiastic, thinking about action from a kaiju.

Zodyl's grand scheme to fly this enormous trash monster to the Sphere raises the stakes significantly. The Cleaners now need to stop this impending disaster, all while fighting off the Raiders, who are still a threat. Gachiakuta Episode 20 is setting up to show the strategy situated at taking down the trash monster from inside.

Enjin's standoff with Fu gives some valuable comedic relief while also ramping up the tension. Fu cannot throw the first punch without getting decked, leading to an interesting psychological "cover your ass" type of tussle. I guess we will just need to see if this tangle falls off to the side or leads to violence in Gachiakuta Episode 20.

Gachiakuta Episode 20 will likely shed some light on artificial trash monsters compared to actual trash monsters from the natural world. There's no toxic fumes inside this thing, and that drives the Raiders, but probably gives the Cleaners some room to game the internal structure of this monster.

Episode 19 gave away some huge surprises and changed the game for the story. We dove right into Rudo and some uncomfortable flashbacks he had regarding his Watchman Series gloves he received from Regto. The flashbacks painted a dangerous backdrop around these items and the risk Regto took in giving them to Rudo.

Zodyl updated us on his unsuccessful attempt to create a new Watchman Series entry. Similar to his failed attempts to enter the Sphere himself, Zodyl's goal to create a new Watchman Series sucked up time and energy, and he ultimately found success by experimenting with artificial trash beasts. This would be the core of Zodyl’s sadly hateful revenge plot on the Sphere.

The Watchman’s Series backstory expanded significantly. Apparently, all of these objects at some period in time belonged to a very powerful single individual. These now make sense why Zodyl and Rudo have both been able to use their items.

Bro and Dear really displayed a neat father-son relationship. Bro was so convinced that Dear was causing the building to shake with his silly foot-tapping that he was proud to point out the accomplishment. When Dear started to discover his ability, the moment he tapped his foot in a way that built from soft toe taps to crushing impact, he demonstrated how great his Vital Instrument mechanics were.

The episode finished with the Cleaners full of vigor and ready to work. Their job description is exactly on point for this sort of challenge. This type of framework prefaces Gachiakuta Episode 20 for some exceptional action scenes when the Cleaners will start the revolt by attacking the trash beast from the inside.
