Gachiakuta Episode 24 turned the episode down to medium chaos battlefield, shifted to the basement, revealed family names that changed the show/everything forever. The finale has Rudo's bloodline, which has just come out, that changes everything with a betrayal that now alters everything. In like a basement reveal, Rudo finds out he is much more than an indentured servant with a half-brother, to dungeon prisoners who carry family names that mean more than a Trash Beast. Rudo's last name is related to the Watchman Series' creator. Amo is in chains and is calling Rudo's name. There is also a person watching over her who is one of the Cleaners and has no clue what their motives are.Zanka's Advice Sets Everything in MotionZanka advises Rudo (Image Source: Studio BONES)The Gachiakuta Episode 24 opens with Rudo at the Cleaners HQ, looking out the window at Remlin. Zanka comes over and complains about how awkward it is for him to have someone sleeping next to him (referring to Enjin, who was sleeping at his side in the previous episode). After Zanka tells Rudo he should support Remlin, the conversation then shifts towards who will support Amo. Zanka acknowledges Rudo fought the Raiders because he was concerned for Amo and continues to be concerned for her. However, Zanka makes it clear that he neither expects Rudo to immediately go and find Amo nor that he won't support him in any way.Zanka gives Rudo a piece of advice that he takes to heart. If Rudo wants to support anyone, then he has to learn and improve himself before anything else. Zanka tells him to go to Remlin and reminds him that he can't do everything by himself. The Field Trip to Canvas TownRudo is crazy for sweets (Image Source: Studio BONES)Gachiakuta Episode 24 takes an unexpected turn as Rudo gets tasked with being the adult on a field trip to a place called Canvas Town with a couple of younger Cleaners. Even though Rudo's only a little older than both of his charges – Remlin and Guita are both 14, and Dear is just 10 years old – he takes the job very seriously.Rudo's love for sweets is woven throughout the episode, and at times it brings about funny situations, such as when he fights against a guy trying to kidnap him. After the guy tricks Rudo into thinking he had candy to give him, Rudo immediately kicks the dude as hard as he can, and that guarantees that that dude won't be coming near kids anytime soon. The Cleaners organization takes good care of all the kids they work with, and Enjin and Bro, watching from off-camera, show how much they are looking out for Rudo and other kids that are part of their group. The Hell Guard Arrives in Gachiakuta Episode 24Kyouko Nijiku from Hell Guard (Image Source: Studio BONES)While the children prepare for their journey, Gachiakuta Episode 24 introduces a new threat. A strange lady shows up at HQ named Kyouka Nijiku, who is the First Squad Captain of the Hell Guards. She's ticked off at the Cleaners for not reporting the huge Trash Beast event right after it happened. She's telling them that they might have to be more involved, to step in and help out with their jobs. The Boss admits civilians were hurt but counters with his own questions. Why didn't they find out sooner from the Hell Guards? Why did she take so long to come out? Nijiku's answer changes everything: she's here to take "the Sphere," meaning Rudo himself. The Hell Guards want to know all there is to know about the Sphere: where it came from, who its parents were, what race it is, and how it is related to Ground and Sphere. Rudo is the only person in the universe who knows anything about the upper world. The Watchman Series Connection in Gachiakuta Episode 24The biggest surprise in Gachiakuta Episode 24 was the scene in Canvas Town when we saw the amazing murals on the ceiling. The incredible artwork done by generations of spellcasters shows us huge beasts and strange markings, indicating that there's a lot more to the story than we've been told. Also shown in the artwork is the Watchman Series emblem, which is connected to a character named The Undertaker. Macaca Icol, the original Spellcaster, was good pals with The Undertaker, who created the famous Watchman Series, of important too. When the name was revealed, Canis Surebrec, Rudo recognizes it as part of his name. This means that Rudo is literally in the same bloodline as the creator of these powerful things, which would explain why he's been involved in so many of the conflicts surrounding them.Post-Credits ShockerAfter the credits roll, Gachiakuta Episode 24 delivers its final shock. Amo is shown chained inside a dark prison, alone and afraid. She has been repeatedly calling for Rudo to rescue her, showing how much she really cares about him despite their short amount of time spent together.Someone approaches her cell. A laugh echoes through the dungeon—cruel and knowing. The figure is revealed through distinctive features: a facial scar and a chin piercing that identify him as Tamsy. At the end of Gachiakuta Episode 24, we don't have any clear resolution to this story arc and instead have a lot of questions that will most certainly drive many of the first few episodes of Season 2.
