Grand Blue season 2 has been the topic of discussion among many anime fans. This might not be the most popular title out there, but it has garnered an extremely passionate fanbase. There are several reasons for this series’ success. However, the comedic timing and the character interactions are really entertaining in the anime. It is important to note that Grand Blue season 2 is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2025, internationally. The series will be released on July 8, 2025, at 12:30 am Japan Standard Time.

Fans residing in Japan can watch Grand Blue season 2 on Tokyo MX and other local television networks. It’s worth mentioning that BS11 and MBS will be broadcasting the episodes on a weekly basis as well. The NBC Universal booth at Anime Japan announced the broadcast details.

The first season of the anime series came out in 2018. Fans had to wait for nearly 7 years until the subsequent season was announced. Aside from the release date, the official sources also revealed the opening theme song title as well as the artists who would be performing the song. The soundtrack is titled Seishun Towa, which translates to Eternal Youth.

This track will be performed by Shonan no Kaze, a Japanese reggae band, and Atarashii Gakko! The latter is a Japanese group comprising 4 female members who are known for their eccentric dance and vocal routines. Furthermore, both groups provided their comments on the official website. They are quite excited to work on this project and play their part in the Grand Blue season 2.

Grand Blue season 2 will be directed by Shinji Takamatsu, who will also oversee the script. Yukari Hashimoto is responsible for the music in the upcoming project. Hideoki Kusama will oversee the character design for the second installment of the anime series. Reiji Kasuga is the art director. Shun Tokuda will take care of the editing process while Naoyuki Kato will take on the role of Director of Photography. Let’s take a closer look at the main cast of the upcoming project:

The plot of Grand Blue revolves around Iori Kitahara, who has moved to his uncle’s house in order to attend college. Having studied in an all-boys school for most of his life, he was ready to explore relationships with the opposite sex. However, things didn’t really work out the way he wanted them to. On the bright side, he has joined the diving club filled with interesting people who will help him navigate through his college life.
