The Hell's Paradise Season 2 adapts the Lord Tensen and Hōrai Saga manga arcs. Get ready for even bigger reveals into the crazy, dark island’s history as the survivors keep moving farther into unknown areas. You can expect criminal and executioner alliances to be really hard-pressed to survive once they find out who the Tensen really are.

Director Kaori Mikita is back behind the wheel for this new project, and she said she's very excited to explore how all the characters grow after they barely made it through their first trial. There will be even cooler action scenes, and we’ll get to explore more of the philosophy of being immortal and being human. Plus, new executioners will be introduced, like Yamada Asaemon Shugen.

Gabimaru seeks the elixir of life, but during his journey, he encounters increasing amounts of both moral trappings and the supernatural beasts of the island. Simultaneously, in addition to finding the elixir of life, he is forming a bond with Sagiri as both of them begin to face their own personal demons and the significance of their journey.

Why Fans Are Excited

Hell's Paradise Season 2 represents one of winter 2026's most anticipated releases. The first season received rave reviews due to its ability to simultaneously explore the theme of redemption and human connections while giving fans raw, bloody action.
