The Lazarus anime has been progressing steadily, and fans are happy with how the story is unfolding. The group's members seem to be closing in on Dr. Skinner’s location in the hopes of saving humanity from dying. Hapna has caused a lot of trouble, and the entire world has consumed this drug at some point in their lives. He slowly regained consciousness and even had a brief conversation with Christine. Christine mentioned that there were only 24 hours left to find Dr. Skinner.

That could be their final interaction if they failed to find him. During this interaction, he was asked if he had any regrets. To this, he responded that he had none, and he posed the same question to Christine. She took a moment to think and proceeded to kiss Axel. Following that, she told him that she had no regrets.

Currently, he has sustained a ton of injuries, and there are only 24 hours left for the team to find Dr. Skinner. If that is the case, will Axel recover in time to help his team out? The answer isn’t certain, but fans can expect him to recover quickly and contribute to the team. His involvement will be paramount to finding Dr. Skinner. Furthermore, he is the protagonist of the series, which means he won’t be sidelined during the most crucial moment of the anime.

The quick passage of time in Lazarus indicates that there is something larger at play. Hapna and the antidote for this drug have been the main focus.
