Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None takes a well-known old-school reject tale and turns it on its head. A very versatile and somewhat chaotic mage gets booted out of his own party for not specializing in anything. Sounds like your regular hero gets revenge on the people who kicked him out of the party setup, right? Well, here's where the anime gets interesting.
Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None will be streaming early on January 01, 2026, 12:00 am JST through d Anime Store and ABEMA. The TV air date will be January 04, 2026, at 10:30 pm JST (Tokyo MX). Crunchyroll is taking care of the worldwide simulcast for North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia, and India.

Two tiers of distribution are used by this anime, with Japanese streaming platforms being first in distribution. Both ABEMA and d Anime Store viewers will be able to stream their first episode at midnight, January 1st. This allows ardent followers to begin streaming 3 days before the TV Release.

Story Overview of Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None

Orhun Dura is the main character of Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None. He used to be in a hero party with other members before he had to leave. Orhun's childhood friend, Oliver, is also part of that group, and he was one of the first to kick Orhun out. Even though Orhun had lots of different types of magic, all those different kinds of magic made him seem like he was unable to focus
After getting rejected from a party, Orhun begins a solo adventurer career as he discovers all sorts of treacherous battles and partners he never thought he’d meet. The premise behind it is that the protagonist wants to show that using multiple skills gives him a unique strength, and instead of focusing on only being a support to his party, he is changing his goal to that of becoming the baddest all-around player in the game.
Production Team

The project is directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe from Animation Studio42. Kanbe has previously directed Oreimo and Viper's Creed. The series composition will be handled by Masashi Suzuki, who wrote the script for Lord of Vermilion: The Crimson King.
Naoto Nakamura is the character designer for the project. His previous works include Date A Live IV and Date A Live V. Tsubasa Handa is composing the music for the project. The opening theme "Sylve" will be sung by hololive VTuber Tokoyami Towa.

Conclusion
Fantasy fiction typically depicts heroes with one huge, powerful ability, but this story flips that idea. The hero has lots of different abilities. The story really asks if it's better to specialize in one ability or have many different abilities.
Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None is coming this winter 2026 during a busy anime season. Fans of fantasy who like to cheer for underdog heroes have already put it on their lists. The show will be released at the same time as a two-part premiere on streaming and regular TV, so there will be something for both types of fans.
