Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 10 has been an interesting installment in this series, as for the first time, there is a ray of hope that the aliens and the human race could coexist. Additionally, the story has set itself up in a way that Itadori Yuji will have to make an official reappearance and take an active part. Although Gege usually likes to reflect parts of reality in his story and he has done so by showing that while the majority are ready to coexist in peace, there are a few who want to ensure that a war takes place.

The higher-ups, the Simurians, and the fragile balance of peace

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 10 starts with a meeting among the new generation council, and it seems to be reviewing footage where Maru had recently gone on a small rampage. Usami takes the lead in this chapter, and he deserves his spotlight because he uses his strategic thinking to save Maru and the alien race from a war.

Interestingly, it is shown that Usami had asked his footage to be deleted, and somehow, someone got their hands on it. This anonymous person has gone out of their way to show this footage to everyone in hopes of disrupting the coexistence plan. Meanwhile, on the Simurians' side, tensions are at an all-time high as their leaders debate war versus peace. Dborah, the alien chieftain in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 10, faces opposition from other aliens who do not trust humans enough to live peacefully with them. They decide the best way to take the next step is by voting. These characters who do not want to coexist feel that they have Cross and Dabura on their side, but after voting, it was revealed that both of them are siding with maintaining peace.

Their decision is similar to Usami’s faith in diplomacy and Yuji’s core ideology from the original Jujutsu Kaisen: to end the cycle of hatred. Still, the chapter makes it clear that peace won’t come easily. Many factions on both sides view coexistence as weakness, setting the stage for internal sabotage and future conflict.
