My Hero Academia Final Season Episode 1 opened with a bang, literally. Studio Bones wasted no time diving into the climactic All Might vs. All For One rematch, a duel that served as both a thematic mirror to Season 3’s legendary battle and a symbolic passing of the torch.

After giving a long recap, the episode started with a dynamic battle between the duo. For the first time, All Might had taken on himself to fight against the strongest villain of all time, while being Quirkless.

It was established from the start that even after getting all sorts of enhancements, the chances of winning against All for One were next to impossible. The main goal of this battle was to buy some time and weaken this villain as much as possible. In this episode, their battle was poetic was All Might had nothing to lose and did not have to keep up with appearance.

Meanwhile, the final half of the episode shows us Ayoma, the traitor of U.A Highschool standing up for his friends and joining the heroes' side by defeating Kunieda. And in this battle, Toru (Invisible Girl) is slightly visible. While this seems like a fan service moment, it was dealt with tasteful animation.

The episode came to an end, and we see All Might is pushed to a corner, and with no back-up available, help him out. Hope is almost lost, and in the last second, Hero Killer Stain jumps right into action. This time, it seems he is using his powers to help All Might.

If Episode 1 was all about nostalgia and closure for All Might, My Hero Academia Final Season Episode 2 will likely turn its attention to the next generation of heroes. According to manga readers, My Hero Academia Final Season Episode 2 may focus on Deku’s return to the main battlefield, reconnecting with his classmates after his solo vigilante period.

It could also delve deeper into Shigaraki’s inner turmoil, exploring the lingering traces of Tenko Shimura and the control All For One continues to exert over him. With All Might’s fate hanging in the balance and Stain’s sudden intervention turning the tide, Episode 2 will carry massive emotional weight.

Whether you’re a long-time manga reader or an anime-only viewer catching up weekly, one thing’s for sure: when My Hero Academia Final Season Episode 2 airs on October 11, 2025, the world will be watching.
