My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2 follows Koichi Haimawari's adventure as a vigilante, with even more excitement than the previous episode, which provided an introduction to Naniwa City and its inhabitants. This episode has definitely raised the bar.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2 focuses on a crazy undercover assignment inside the Kanidoge facility at the Eusha SS mall. Kaniko was working on the mission to bust a drug smuggler while at a carnival-type event. When she entered to locate the smuggler, she encountered this super-fast villain who can run incredibly fast and cause major destruction.
The Warehouse Infiltration in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2

The episode begins with Fat Gum, Kaniko, Detective Tsukauchi, and a bunch of officers talking about how they are going to bust this drug-smuggling ring that's hiding in all the fun and games going on at Eusha SS Mall.
With Fat Gum overseeing, Kaniko also got herself in amongst the workers in the warehouse, and the whole time she’s watching everything that goes on around her, all while pretending to be just like everyone else working there. Everything seemed to be running smoothly until a random guy showed up right next to her.
Kaniko's spidey-senses start tingling when she spots a shady character. She pulls out her gun and lets Tsukauchi know there's a shady situation going on.
Before she can do anything else, the mystery person busts out crazy fast reflexes, snatches the gun right out of her hands, and swipes the tablet that has all of the customers' information. This moment in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2 marks the introduction of the episode's primary antagonist.
Fat Gum's Desperate Defense
The backup's Fat Gum steps up and gets straight into it with the villain, just as the police start to arrive and provide backup. He then quickly uses superhuman speed to type commands onto the tablet, activating the warehouse's automatic crab loading machine.
Those mechanical crab arms look like they're ready to rumble. They're coming down to grab Fat Gum and try to pinch him with those big claws. Fat Gum shows how strong he is on his own, but he has an impossible choice to make. The normal citizens that are alive inside those robots don't even realize they're inside them.
Fat Gum changed up his game plan, using his quirk where he can absorb fat to stick the robot arms to the ground. This gave Kaniko the chance to use her quirk, Snip Clip, to cut off the people stuck in the machines without hurting them.
Pop☆Step's Perilous Situation in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2

While at the mall, Pop☆Step gets stuck in one of those promotional display machines. It runs rampant and destroys everything. It tears through everything from kiosks to decor to displays. Pop☆Step can't do anything to stop it while she's stuck in the machine.
Fat Gum and Kaniko get to where the action is, but learn quickly that they can't catch the crazy machine. The rig is going so fast there's no way they can catch up to it. Just when it looks like no one can stop it from getting out of control, Koichi comes in and makes a huge impression with his entrance.
Koichi's headed over to the rig by busting out a costume he found in the destruction area. Koichi was flying through the air to hit the moving rig using a quick movement technique that he practiced until it was all good. He created a suction against the rig and was able to latch onto the back end of it like a spider.
The Speedster's Power Revealed

While Koichi is doing his best to rescue people, Tsukauchi and his police team are still hot on the trail of the guy who did this. The speedy thief doesn't look like he will give up, so Tsukauchi takes aim at him (the villain) and ends up hitting him with a gunshot. The officers think they have finally captured the villain and run towards him to arrest him.
What happens next shows how terrifying speedsters can be in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2. Everything is moving really slowly except for the bad guy. He has superhuman perception and reaction time, so he just strolls right through the frozen cops.
The villain looks at all the rubber bullets that cops use and methodically shoots at them with each cop's service weapon. This whole sequence is completed before anybody can respond, and the villain just strolls away from the crime scene.
Review of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2
I found My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2 to be an exhilarating experience from start to finish. Once it started, it kept the fast pace throughout, from the suspenseful break-in at the warehouse to the fast-paced chase in the mall.
The speedster villain is genuinely intimidating. I thought that part where he tricked the entire police force into being disarmed really blew my mind.
The way Koichi came in and introduced himself as "The Crawler: Tower of Heaven" was funny when everyone was in a panic. You can see Koichi teasing Pop☆Step when she was stuck inside a machine that could explode, which shows how they work together.
Overall, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 2 blew me away. It's got a lot of action. And it builds off of the first episode of the new season, introducing new, intriguing threats.
