Naruto: How powerful is Sasuke after losing his Rinnegan?

Power calibrating is a controversial scope for the Naruto-verse. The series has always depicted the contest between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke, in a dramatic turn of events, loses his Rinnegan to Boruto(possessed by Momoshiki) during the battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki. As such, one question is looming around his current power position: How strong is he now without his Rinnegan?

Regardless of losing his Rinnegan, Sasuke still carries several other important capacities that make him threatening and put him above most powerful shinobi. The Rinnegan was a substantial part of Sasuke's arsenal. The Rinnegan stimulated Sasuke’s raw power and handed him a boost with ample chakra.

The loss of this dojutsu means Sasuke no longer has access to several abilities. He can no longer use Amenotejikara, his space-time switching technique that allowed him to directly switch places with people or objects. The Six Paths techniques, such as Shinra Tensei, Chibaku Tensei, and chakra absorption, are also unavailable to him now.

He may also have lost the ability to manifest his Perfect Susanoo. This loss leaves Sasuke more vulnerable to pitfalls in Boruto.

Nonetheless, Sasuke still has some powerful abilities. His right eye owns his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. It grants him enhanced visual prowess and genjutsu capabilities. He still has credentials for Amaterasu and Flame Control (Kagutsuchi). With these, he has the power of complete control over Black flames. His proficiency in all five chakra natures remains unchanged, making him adaptable in combat situations.

Moreover, if Hagoromo's chakra is still tied to Sasuke's Rinnegan, he probably might have lost that Six Paths boost entirely. However, if the chakra remains in his body, his base power could still surpass utmost shinobi.

Another possible advantage of losing the Rinnegan might be his decreased chakra drain. The Rinnegan is eternally active, very different than his counterpart, Sharingan, which can be deactivated. As such, without this constant chakra drain, Sasuke might be able to fight longer and carry out his other techniques more efficiently.

How does he compare to the current Naruto?

With Naruto and Sasuke nerfed (Naruto losing Kurama and Sasuke losing his Rinnegan), the power balance between them has shifted again. The two might still be fairly equal in power, with a slight advantage to the protagonist.

Naruto, losing Kurama, still wields Sage Mode, immense chakra reserves, and Six Paths upgrades. Meanwhile, Sasuke leans on a pared-down toolkit like Kenjutsu, Sharingan genjutsu, and basic Uchiha practices. While Sasuke’s combat intelligence stays elite, his inability to teleport or absorb jutsu makes him less protean.

Sasuke's part remains pivotal despite the power reduction. His extensive knowledge of other confined dimensions and Otsutsuki makes him invaluable to Konoha's defense.

Overall, Sasuke’s power post-Rinnegan is still a hot matter for every Naruto fan. While surely weaker than his prime self in the series, Sasuke is still one of the strongest shinobi. The loss of his Rinnegan has reduced his versatility and raw power, but his remaining abilities still place him far above most other characters.

This saga isn’t static in terms of power scaling, and Sasuke might evolve beyond the Rinnegan.
