Fans of the series were also treated to the opening theme song that will play while Gabimaru travels down his dangerous path.Hell's Paradise Season 2's trailer features the opening theme "Kasukana Hana" and also reveals two new characters from the highest rank of immortal beings. The production will once again be handled by Studio Mappa, with the season launching on January 11, 2026.Tatsuya Kitani worked with the metal idol group BABYMETAL on the Hell's Paradise Season 2 opening theme. The track called “Kasukana Hana” definitely has a heavy feel and fits the dark vibe of Shinsenkyo extremely well. Tatsuya also received widespread attention for providing the opening track for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Gabimaru, along with Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, continues to explore the hidden lands of the island and meet new characters like Yamada Asaemon Shugen, who will join other Yamada Asaemon who have landed on Shinsenkyo.The animated fight scenes created by MAPPA are incredible. The artistic style still retains the dark theme that made the first season such a success, and all of the character designs are true to Yuji Kaku's original manga.Some new clips have come out hinting pretty strongly that the show's going to incorporate both the "Lord Tensen" and "Hōrai" arcs into its plot. Both Ju Fa and Tao Fa are in the Tensen class (immortal beings on the island).Ju Fa's long-haired, yellow-haired character looks like petals from flowers combined with yellowish/golden eyes. Ju Fa is also known as the "Great Emperor Ashuku". Tao Fa has a short, pink-haired character, styled like flower petals, with matching golden eyes. Tao Fa also holds the title of "Great Sage Ratna". Together, Ju Fa & Tao Fa are a pair and are masters of the mystical art of Bōchū Jutsu.The visual confirms their roles as partial rulers of Kotaku. Both characters share the ability to transform between male and female forms at will. Their plant-based bodies possess extraordinary regenerative abilities. They both possess extremely powerful regenerative abilities due to being plant-like life forms. The Tensen are monsters that control the entire island; they are also immortal. In order to stay alive, condemned inmates and executioners must work together and cooperate.Yamada Asaemon Shugen arrives with other fighters to help. This makes the already complicated and dangerous situation much more so. Characters in this series have to make tough decisions while they try to find the elixir of life.Hell's Paradise Season 2 dives into a full-on war between humans and celestials alike, so Gabimaru will truly have to show off his skills, which is a nice way of saying that the season will feature crazy, awesome fights, plus see how the characters evolve emotionally throughout the season.Jump Festa 2026 AnnouncementsAlong with Hell's Paradise Season 2, fans will also be able to check out a mini-anime called Chobitto! Jigokuraku. Each of these mini episodes includes character moments that don't happen in the actual series. They're going to be released every week after the anime airs.The franchise also announced its first video game title, Hell's Paradise: Paradise Battle. This action survival RPG will hit the App Store, Google Play, and Steam in 2025. The attendees were super pumped about the voice actors for the characters Tensen - Junichi Suwabe and Yuko Kaida.
