The newly released promotional video provides viewers with their initial look at the anime's visual style and tone. The trailer shows Gero using his deadly poison weapons as he hunts down Kinosaki, who ends up being an ally instead of a target.

There are awesome fight scenes showing how good Gero is at killing people, and we will also get to meet other important characters that will make Gero's quest to find a wife more challenging.

The creative studio that does Marriage Toxin is Studio Bones Film. The project is directed by Motonobu Hori (past directing experience: Carole & Tuesday, etc.). Series composition and scriptwriting were created by Kimiko Ueno. The character design and chief animation director is Kohei Tokuoka.

Marriage Toxin is a series about Hikaru Gero, who is the heir of the Poison Masters Gero Family from the Five Great Families. He has never really been on the scene romantically because his entire life has been spent in the underworld, and he doesn't know how to talk to people at all.

When his family wants him to have kids to continue their bloodline, they even threaten to make his sister have kids. So he sets out on a mission to find his own bride to keep his sister safe.

Gero, who is on a job, runs across Mei Kinosaki, a crazy-good marriage con artist who can get anybody to fall in love in seconds. And when Gero learns how good Kinosaki is at what she does, he just can't help himself and asks Kinosaki to help him find a wife. This unusual request launches the pair into what the series describes as the world's toughest marriage mission.
