We finally have the raw scans for One Piece Chapter 1164, and they show how things have completely gone out of hand. Oda seems to have delivered some of his finest storytelling yet by making this chapter both chaotic and emotional.

The God Valley Incident is coming to an end, and with that, we are about to witness the battle between Roger and Garp versus Rocks. Other than that, there are also hints about the “Will of D,” possibly tying it to Davy Jones, the legendary king of the ancient world.

One Piece Chapter 1164 starts with Xebec visibly losing control over himself as Imu uses its Domi Reversi powers. This terrifying technique allows Imu to take control of anyone and transform them into a type of demon. Despite Xebec trying to resist, Imu provokes him further by claiming that Elbaf will soon fall under World Government control because its king, Harold, is “easy to manipulate.”

Hearing this makes Rocks extremely angry, and he almost transforms into a demon. Many fans are comparing this to Bleach’s “Hollofication.” In One Piece Chapter 1164, we also understand that Rocks’ anger comes from a place of love; his attachment to Harold and his family drives him into madness, and soon, he’s forced to fight his own allies.

Rocks, in his demonic stage, continues to go on a rampage. In One Piece Chapter 1164, we see Kaido and Big Mom attack him, but they are no match and end up being easily defeated. This proves how unstoppable Rocks has become. The clash with Whitebeard, however, stands on another level.

In One Piece Chapter 1164, Whitebeard steps up to challenge his captain. This battle, in particular, is so powerful that it destroys half of God Valley itself. But in the end, Whitebeard goes missing. We could theorize that he was either defeated or deliberately retreated after realizing that Rocks was beyond saving.

This moment cements Whitebeard as the second-in-command of the Rocks Pirates, the “Zoro” of their generation. He was not even in his prime and yet managed to stand his ground against a terrifying force.

The Will of D - or the Will of Davy?

One Piece Chapter 1164 throws the biggest curveball at readers as Rocks declares that Davy Jones was the king of the world. This revelation could mean that the Will of D actually stands for the Will of Davy. Since there are no official translations yet, it’s difficult to confirm if Rocks was correct.

But if he was, it would open the series up to a whole new set of possibilities. If Davy Jones was indeed a “D,” it suggests multiple interpretations of the “Will of D,” maybe two clans or ideologies descended from Joy Boy and Davy Jones.

Kuma’s heroic sacrifice and Rocks’ final plea

The One Piece Chapter 1164 raw scans also show Kuma using his Paw-Paw Fruit powers to teleport Eris and young Teach (Blackbeard) away from God Valley. This would mean that Rocks’ family was able to make it out alive. We know for a fact that Blackbeard survived, although it’s unclear if Eris did.

In his final moments in One Piece Chapter 1164, Rocks telepathically communicates with Roger and Garp, begging them to kill him before Imu uses his body as a weapon. Whether this is an advanced form of Observation Haki or Imu’s psychic manipulation remains unclear, but it echoes the “Voice of All Things” seen in Roger, Momo, and Luffy.

Final thoughts on One Piece Chapter 1164

One Piece Chapter 1164 is pure chaos, in the best way possible. If these spoilers are accurate, Eiichiro Oda is setting up the final stage of One Piece’s mythology. The fall of God Valley may not just mark the end of Rocks; it might also be the beginning of everything the “D” family stands for.
