If you have been following the One Piece series, there is no secret that Eiichiro Oda likes to tease fans by using callbacks like no other. An insignificant detail could be one of the major reasons to build the story way into the future. In this article, we will be talking about one character who existed way before the current timeline, and during his peak, was a threat to the world like no other.

Rocks D. Xebec was captain of a pirate crew known as the Rocks Pirates, and just like the captain, even his crew were overpowered that including characters like Whitebeard, Kaido, Big Mom, and even Shiki. Before the God Valley Incident took place, he was the most dangerous person alive.

Interestingly, everyone was not only scared because of his strength but also his ideology. He wanted to take over the world and rule; this meant that he would need to defeat Celestial Dragons and fight against the World Government. His violent revolutionary ideology is what made even the strongest fear him.

So, Garp and Gol D. Roger teamed up to take him down for good. The news was released that Rocks was dead. Although from what we know of One Piece, dying does not mean they cannot resurface again. What if the World Government decided to take his body, strip him of his humanity, and turn him into a weapon?

While this is a wild theory that is circling around the One Piece Community, it does not make sense to completely dismiss it, knowing that the World Government has the tools to pull this plan out. Therefore, if they decided to go ahead and use him as their disposable weapon, Rocks D. Xebec would make a reentrance in the story, and now he would be more gruesome than ever.

He was once the king of chaos, the man who dared to threaten the Celestial Dragons, and nearly succeeded. Reviving him as a mindless soldier under World Government command would be the ultimate act of poetic domination. It says, “Even your greatest enemy is ours now.”

Ever since Vegapunk introduced the world to the Seraphim, childlike yet terrifying clones of the Seven Warlords, embedded with Lunarian DNA and powered by the latest Pacifista tech, the game changed.

Fans have been wondering if Xebec in One Piece

is the key to Imu’s secrets

It’s long been speculated that Imu is immortal, possibly a survivor from the Void Century in One Piece. If Xebec knew something about the World Government’s origins, maybe he wasn’t just a threat; maybe he was a whistleblower with power.

Reviving him, even as a Seraphim, could backfire. If Xebec’s memories, motives, or soul find a way back to the surface, he could end up turning against his creators, much like Vegapunk defecting from the Government’s ideals. That’s the beauty of this theory; it isn’t just about strength. It’s about what happens when the past refuses to stay buried.

Of course, one major question lingers: if the World Government turned Xebec into a weapon, why haven’t we seen him yet? With the Seraphim already deployed and making waves, it’s strange that such a powerful figure would still be hidden.

Perhaps he’s being kept in reserve for a moment of absolute crisis, or maybe his revival was too unstable, making him a dangerous wildcard even to his creators. Either way, the silence around him only fuels the mystery.

In conclusion, rumors suggest that Rocks D. Xebec might make a comeback in One Piece, and it might not be returning him to the side of the heroes. According to the theories, the World Government might have taken his body after the God Valley incident and used it to make him into a weapon.

This would mean that while he would be back in the narrative, he would just be a shell of what he used to be. And when it does, the world will remember the name that even Roger and Garp had to team up to erase.
