One-Punch Man introduced Mosquito Girl during the House of Evolution Arc, part of the series’ Introduction Saga. She was one of the first real threats Genos faced. Her bug powers let her control swarms of mosquitoes that drained blood to make her stronger. She looked creepy and moved fast. She also had a confidence that made her feel like a big, bad villain from the get-go.
The first appearance of Mosquito Girl was when she launched a surprise attack on Z-City. Her swarm covered the entire area, forcing everyone indoors. She quickly took out a looter before running into Genos. The cyborg hero responded with a wave of heat blasts that killed many of her mosquitoes, but Mosquito Girl was smart and fast.

She cut off Genos’ right arm before realizing he had already torn off her legs. Both were badly damaged. One-Punch Man made things even worse for Genos when Mosquito Girl powered up. She called a large swarm of bugs and sucked on their pooled blood in order to regrow her legs.
With that boost, she was faster, stronger, and more difficult to hit. She quickly outmatched Genos, cutting his body in half. Genos had no chance to win. But just when things looked bad, Saitama arrived.

One-Punch Man fans remember the moment Mosquito Girl was slapped. Saitama had been chasing a mosquito and accidentally walked into the fight. Finally, after Genos’ ultimate blast took out the last of the swarm, it was Saitama’s turn. He was caught up in the blast but was unharmed, except for his clothes. Saitama slapped Mosquito Girl to pieces. It was one of the funniest scenes in the series.
One-Punch Man never showed Mosquito Girl again after that. That small detail led to a lot of theories. Some fans think that since the show didn’t give a full shot of her corpse, she might still be alive. Others believe she was simply blown apart too fast for the scene to show much. Either way, the mystery left enough room for people to question what really happened.
But the manga later gave a surprising twist. In the Neo Heroes Introduction Arc, we learn that Mosquito Girl actually survived. It turns out Saitama only destroyed her blood sack, not her entire body. This confirmed that she didn’t die that day.
Current Life in One-Punch Man
One-Punch Man now shows Mosquito Girl living a quiet life. After surviving the slap, she lost all her limbs, which were later replaced with robotic parts. She currently works at the House of Takoyaki and is being taken care of by Armored Gorilla. Since her blood sac hasn’t fully grown back, she is fed blood using a huge syringe.

Fans of One-Punch Man were surprised by her return. Mosquito Girl was one of the earliest villains, and no one expected to see her again. She looks different with her robotic limbs, but she’s still herself. Again, she is not yet back in commission, but her presence optionally suggests that she may once again become involved in future stories.
One-Punch Man also raises new questions with her comeback. Why did Dr. Genus choose to rebuild her? Does she still have her old powers? Could she get stronger with new tech? Can she be like Genos? The series hasn’t answered everything yet, but it’s clear she’s not just a forgotten character. Her future is still open. Since she’s recovering and still part of Dr. Genus’s plans, it’s possible we’ll see her in battle again someday.
Conclusion
One-Punch Man has many overpowered characters and shocking twists. Mosquito Girl’s survival is just another example. She went from a quick villain to a long-running mystery and is now a part of the House of Takoyaki.
