One Punch Man Season 3 Cour 2 has been officially announced, but the news hasn't sparked celebration. Instead, there was an overwhelming amount of frustration and anxiety from fans on social media when the news hit. Fans hadn't even finished watching the awful first half of Season 3 yet, and then this announcement was made.

The announcement for One Punch Man Season 3 Cour 2 has only added to the fear that fans have regarding the inevitable fight between Saitama and Garou. This fight was one of the most visually impressive moments in the manga, and it will take a lot of awesome animation to properly portray it. Due to the horrible animation in the first twelve episodes of this current season, fans are expecting the worst rather than looking forward to something amazing.

Season 3 has been a disappointing experience for longtime fans of the series. The animation quality took a massive nosedive compared to previous seasons. Many episodes featured static images scrolling across the screen during dialogue scenes. Fight sequences that should have been dynamic often relied on minimal movement and poor choreography.

As the season went on, it was obvious that the production was having a really hard time meeting standards. Throughout the season, there were numerous continuity errors, particularly in character design, which often changed from one scene to the next. The sound design and music were nowhere near as good as they were in previous seasons.

Studio Changes and Budget Concerns

The quality of this show has decreased because of some major changes that happened behind the scenes. Season one was produced by Madhouse using an amazing team, which was able to replicate the manga's beautiful illustrations.

When JC Staff took over for seasons two and three, the quality of the show dropped substantially. Some say that there are successful shows that receive less funding than they should relative to their popularity because people will continue to watch them even if they aren't that great.

That means that the anime episodes are treated as marketing tools for sales of the manga, rather than entertainment in their own right.

Most fans are really looking forward to the Garou vs. Saitama fight in the upcoming One Punch Man Season 3 Cour 2. This will be one of the most visually stunning and significant moments in the One Punch Man manga, plus it’s been years since the start of this epic showdown, and it finally gets animated.

"My hopium was at least we eventually get S4 w/ Garou v Saitama made by another studio. This tho..." a fan's concerned comment

Due to its poor production values, some people suspect this season's battles will consist of slideshow-style animations. Lots of comments out there about this season appearing similar to a PowerPoint Presentation. People have also said they see things in their head as better than what they see in the anime.

Calls for Studio Changes

Numerous people have called for a complete studio change before One Punch Man Season 3 Cour 2 begins production. Some have even said to take it to MAPPA or Bones, two companies that make really great action animation. Some have even gone so far as to say they should just completely restart Seasons 2 and 3 from scratch.

"They need MAPPA or Ufotable because this last season was meh," one fan commented
"one punch man season 3 animation is a benchmark set by jc staff for others to follow," another commented

Questions about scheduling improvements have also emerged. Better production schedules could give animators adequate time to create quality work. The rushed nature of Season 3's production has been evident throughout, with episodes appearing unfinished upon release.

The news about One Punch Man Season 3 Cour 2 coming out presents both opportunities and liabilities for the production crew. They have now received direct information regarding people's negative experiences with the animation quality. It remains to be seen if the production crew will correct these issues.

It's kinda sad that the animation for One Punch Man has really taken a nosedive since the 1st season. Many of the fans of the show are still waiting for One Punch Man to honour the original comic book series, but given how poorly the series has been animated in the past, it's hard to remain optimistic. The fight between Garou and Saitama in One Punch Man Season 3 Cour 2 definitely needs to be animated in a way that does justice to the amazing artwork of the comic.
