Kazushige Sanda will be struggling with his belief that children should not be subject to sorts of things hidden from him behind the facade of protecting them. This leads him not to pursue romantic relationships. But the circumstances do not make pursuing relationships easy. Sanda's fiancé, who was assigned by the government, Nico Kazoa, continues to show herself in his path.

Conflict will emerge from responsibility or duty, and desire, as Sanda finds himself fighting against the very thing he finds distracting and possibly no longer able to reject. A storm comes through the range, which will create a hurdle in Sanda's plan to tell Nico how he feels.

The biggest surprise comes in SANDA Episode 5 with the advent of the arrival of Sabuto Yagiuda, from the Red-Clad Special Task Force, as the new instructor.

What Happened in SANDA Episode 4?

The previous episode provided vital character development and theme exploitation. After becoming Santa Claus, Sanda faced the hunter who shot him. There were then flashbacks explaining Fuyumura's complicated relationship with her friend Ono, who went missing. This episode dealt with adults policing children's emotional and physical growth.

The episode concluded when Sanda crashed through the gym ceiling during Ono's funeral. Students mistook the naked, muscular character for a divine being, which sparked the "God-pa" phenomenon, and classmates created merch and imitated Sanda's poses.

The last scene was powerful in emphasizing the burden of being an adult. Fuyumura consoled Sanda by saying, despite all that's going on around them, they were, in fact, still children. In the conversation, it captured the struggle of trying to meet adulthood expectations while simultaneously figuring out who they are.

The episode also established Sanda's fear of disappointing someone since people now depend on him. He has this internal conflict with the essence of childhood and faces adulthood's responsibilities. We can expect that these relationships will also unfold again in SANDA Episode 5.
