What Can You Expect From SANDA Episode 7?

Meanwhile, Headmaster Hifumi Oshibu has not recovered from the wounds caused by Santa Claus, relying on Saburo Yagiuda's praise for solace. As the headmaster recovers from his injuries, it could lead to new tensions in the future. This signals ominous threats on the horizon as Oshibu appears to be establishing a powerful team.

SANDA Episode 7 is likely to heighten the emotional stakes and prepare for serious and substantial plot developments. Sanda's desperate attempts to maintain his friendship with Hitoshi Amaya will present both characters with their own challenges and nuances.

Episode 6 had some pretty crazy fights, and the introductions of new characters were really surprising. The headmaster learned that Ono had "grown up" overnight and wanted to reprimand her as an intruder. Luckily, Fuyumura intervened to defend his friend by explaining that she had matured on the outside and did not actually "trespass".

Next, and barely able to wiggle through his new costume, Sanda attempted to help, but struggled without his Santa transformation. His anxiety about being Santa wasn't about the holiday itself, but rather the romantic confusion surrounding it. Eventually, he came to terms with the newcomer stage by acting like an adult, which led to a new athletic-inspired costume design for his Santa.

And, just as we expected, the battle between Santa and the cyborg headmaster featured great animation. The cyborg headmaster was a tough foe despite his 92 years due to his artificial enhancements. As Sanda triggered an anger response by indicating the headmaster's age, the scarring on the headmaster's body literally throbbed and cracked wide open.

The fight ended, not with Santa winning, but with the intervention of Chief Director Toyo Tetsudome, a senior woman, who shocked everyone with her martial power and defeated the headmaster easily with quick strikes. At the end, it seemed that she had decided to mentor Santa, and he pleaded with her for training, agreement.

The episode ended with an impactful post-credits scene. Ono's and Fuyumura's reunion conversation was awkward and painful, a clear sign of how differently they have developed. With that being said, SANDA Episode 7 looks to further develop its themes of friendship, responsibility, and painful maturation in a society that fears growing old.
