My Hero Academia Final Season has just five episodes left, and fans are bracing themselves to say goodbye to their beloved series. It is now confirmed that the final season will conclude after 11 episodes. The only thing that fans dislike about this season is that it is the shortest installment of the whole franchise. With this announcement, the production house has also released a new teaser of Deku’s final battle.

Since this season started, fans and critics have had nothing but praise for this installment. From Episode 1, it was established that My Hero Academia Final Season is going to be battle-heavy. Until now, the series maintained a balance between lore dropping and battle, but now the stakes have been at their highest, where the result of a win or loss dictates the fate of humanity.

While longtime fans may be disappointed that My Hero Academia Final Season won’t have the typical 20+ episode run, Studio Bones seems determined to end things on a high note. All the episodes that have been released so far have no less than 9.0 on IMDb, and they deserve it. The animation quality and the emotional depth are so high that each episode elevates the viewing experience.

As the final battle between Deku and Shigaraki is ongoing, every frame feels like an important one, which ensures that the viewer does not take their eye off the screen even for a second. The production team overall has done a great job in maintaining a consistent quality of animation. Whether it’s All Might’s final stand against All For One or the heart-wrenching sacrifices of heroes like Toga and Star and Stripe, every moment feels cinematic.

The new teaser for My Hero Academia Final Season previews the remaining episodes and shows what appears to be the decisive phase of Deku’s battle with Shigaraki. In the episode before this teaser was dropped, the story set the foundation for the main backstory of Shigaraki and the origin of his Decay Quirk.

This confrontation has been brewing since Season 1, where Midoriya’s inherited Quirk was first introduced as the key to ending the centuries-long conflict between the two powerful forces. This emotional connection is part of what has made My Hero Academia Final Season so powerful. The audience has spent years watching Deku grow from a powerless boy into a true symbol of hope. Now, that story is about to reach its conclusion.

If there’s one thing that My Hero Academia Final Season proves, it’s that Studio Bones is pulling out all the stops. All the episodes released so far have fluid animation, vibrant colors, and background music that intensifies the action and, in turn, makes the episodes a spectacle. Even the supporting cast, from Hatsume’s drone tech to Kaminari’s heartfelt concern, has been given meaningful roles in this endgame.

As My Hero Academia Final Season is almost over, fans are having bittersweet emotions over saying goodbye to their beloved series. It’s been almost a decade since the first episode aired, and now we will finally see how the story ends for a Quirkless boy who became the strongest hero. He is facing a villain who could wipe out humanity.
