Since the announcement of the series’ finale, fans have taken their time to express their emotions. Many readers have been following Yona of the Dawn for years, and they feel heartbreak and gratitude towards the series. Some of the common reactions to this news are:

"Hard to believe I actually got to see this through from start to finish. It feels like another era is ending. One of my top 10 mangas I've ever experienced." said one fan.
"Wait... THIS December 19?? Wait they are going to finish everything within like 3 chapters?! There is so much going on right now, I don't know how they are going to properly wrap things up! I can't believe this is ending so soon- I basically grew up with this manga ;-;" added another fan.

Although the series is ending in three chapters, there is one thing that has been bothering fans. Many feel that the ending might be rushed, as there is a lot of content that needs to be covered. Everyone is invested in knowing Zeno's backstory and is invested in seeing Hakyona (Hak and Yona) getting married.

Many fans are now asking the anime production house to reboot the anime adaptation of this series. For now, we only have Season 1, and most of the readers feel that now, as Yona of the Dawn is concluding there will be sufficient content for it to be serialized again. In this way, they will get to see their favorite characters again in the form of anime.

Final thoughts

As the manga is approaching its final chapter, it’s hard not to feel a mix of nostalgia and admiration. Mizuho Kusanagi has delivered a type of story that is more than just a piece of literature; it is an emotional journey filled with courage, loss, friendship, and love

In the end, this series is so iconic that its legacy can become a symbol of resilience and compassion. While modern shonen stories are getting popular, stories like this are hard to come by. Fans await December 19, when the final pages will turn and the curtain will close on one of shojo manga’s greatest sagas.
