11) Miss J

While Miss J is not a hero in the series, she is an important character who is behind many of the heroes’ public images. She is the manager of Nice and later on to Lin Ling. In her role as a manager, she is obsessed with maintaining a hero’s “perfect” brand. She may come off as ruthless and business-minded, but Miss J truly does care about all the heroes she manages.
Finally, To Be Hero X has not only redefined the superhero genre but has done so by redefining what it means to be powerful in a world obsessed with image. These characters represent how they are not just defined but their ability but also by nuances like the emotional weight they carry or the internal struggles they face.
This series is one of a kind as it openly explores themes of vulnerability, impostor syndrome, burnout, and identity. The best part is that all of this is wrapped in a flashy, animated package.
