The dubbed version is also currently catching up, with Episode 2 of the English dub having been released on October 26, 2025.What Can You Expect From Wandance Episode 5?After the cliffhanger at the end of the last episode, Wandance Episode 5 should give us an action-packed episode with Kaboku and Iori's meeting. With the unexpected run-in right outside the dance studio, this has opened the door for dialogue that could lead to substantial shifts in the relationships within the club.Wanda, Kabuko, and Yura, watching their practice video (Image Source: Studio Madhouse)With Iori's fascination with Kaboku, we can suspect that this episode will focus on what makes Kaboku's style of dance so different from the other dancers. He is an unassuming and talented dancer, but may see something in his dance style that catches the attention to persuade him back into club participation.Significant character development for Yura should be seen in Wandance Episode 5 as she implements the lessons learned from watching Wanda's style of dance. Yura's epiphany of holding her body weight as opposed to rushing through her disco dance movements is a pivotal moment for her character development. What Happened in Wandance Episode 4?A dance sequence from Episode 4 (Image Source: Studio Madhouse)The fourth episode devoted much attention to the students' technical training and personal reflections on themselves. The members of the dance club had progressed from their basics to more advanced training as they honed in on the choreography ahead of the competition. And plank training was a clear indication of what competitive dancing could do to your body.Yura Nikami emerged as a compelling character in that she did not actually understand why she was not selected to represent the club in the competition. Yet she carried out all her technical aspects to a sufficient level of accuracy. Yamamura, also known as "Meow" in English, reminded her of a very important fact: simply because you can copy the technique of movements does not mean you are a good dancer. There was a significant development when Wanda suggested recording their playing session, and this video was able to provide some learning information for multiple characters. Yura discovered she rushed all of her movements with no breaks or delays, while Kaboku was able to see himself dance for the first time. The episode also caught up with Iori, who showed excitement for the dance battles more than the activities within the club. He has his own method with the music. He listens to all parts of the music to get in the movement, then releases those memories and listens again to find his groove.Meow added a surprise in the routine - a big wow this moment when Wanda splits and Kaboku slides underneath the split. Wanda was happily excited, while Kaboku was nervous and unsure of even being able to perform that moment. Meow also cleverly approached Iori, obtaining him as a mentor. The final segment of the episode was a chance encounter between Iori and Kaboku, two characters to chat for the first time, and teasing for the next episode to connect Kaboku and Iori. Wandance Episode 5 has led to the emotional build-up of characters together to the real fun event in the competition.
