As the World Turns is developing a a storyline with some truly organic storytelling. The CBS soap has cast two-time Emmy-nominated Moonlighting star, Allyce Beasley, as an organic gardener in its upcoming episodes.
Two-time Emmy-nominated actress, Allyce Beasley, will be appearing on As the World Turns in June. The actress, best-known for her role as Agnes DiPesto on Moonlighting, will appear as Edna an organic gardener in an upcoming story arc. Beasley will appear in scenes with Daytime Emmy winner Maura West (Carly), who, sources say, will be a thorn in the side of Beasley's character. Beasley will also share scenes with Cady McClain (Rosanna Cabot) and Roger Howarth (Paul Ryan).

In addition to her work on Moonlighting, Beasley has appeared in numerous motion pictures -- her biggest role was as the voice of Aunt Beatrice in the animated film Stuart Little -- and even more guest-starring roles on primetime television.
Beasley first airs on May 26.
