If you're an As the World Turns fan and find yourself missing your favorite soap around the holidays, here's a special chance to get reconnected.
Eileen Fulton (Lisa Grimaldi) will appear in a special one-night only holiday show called I Remember... or At Least I Try on December 17 at Don't Tell Mama in New York City. If you've never seen one of Eileen's cabaret shows, you're in for a treat.
Eileen will add her signature flair to such classic standards as River, Blue Moon, and Stormy Weather, among others. She will also perform a special rendition of Santa Man, a song for which she wrote the music and lyrics.
I Remember... or At Least I Try will be directed by Diana Basmajian. Bob Goldstone is the music director, and Tom Hubbard will appear on bass.
Eileen appeared on As the World Turns from 1960 through the show's final episode in September 2010. In 2004, she was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys. In addition to her soap work, Eileen has performed on Broadway in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and has also appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions.
The show has a $25 music charge with a two drink minimum. Don't Tell Mama is located at 343 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues in New York City. Reservations are required.
