As the World Turns stars Martha Byrne and Ellen Dolan will reunite during a special event in Upstate New York that will allow fans the rare chance to not only meet the two actresses -- but also live out a dream of acting with them on camera.
As the World Turns vets Martha Byrne (Lily Snyder) and Ellen Dolan (Margo Hughes) are teaming up for what will surely be a unique opportunity for fans and aspiring actors.
Get away from the hustle and bustle and spend a magical weekend with Martha and Ellen called the Adirondack Affair. Fittingly, the event will take place in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in Long Lake, New York.
The Adirondack Affair is not only a great opportunity for fans to meet the actresses and to learn how they work, but it's also a chance for fans to act one-on-one with the ladies in original scripted material which will be later uploaded online in the form of a web series. Guests will be welcome to have speaking parts, be extras, or watch -- whatever they are comfortable doing.
According to the event's web site, the goal of the Adirondack Affair is to show the fans that while As the World Turns may be off the air, Byrne and Dolan are still looking "for ways to connect with the fans and continue to be part of great narrative storytelling."
The Adirondack Affair takes place on September 30 and October 1, 2011, in Long Lake, New York. There is an "Early Bird Registration," for $50, which includes VIP Meet & Greet and Cabaret Performance on Friday and Scene Acting Live on location with Martha and Ellen. Lodging information can be obtained at mylonglake.com or by phone at 518.624.3077.
