Former As the World Turns star Meredith Hagner (ex-Liberty Ciccone) is making headlines this week, as she has married her beau, Wyatt Russell -- who just happens to be the son of mega stars Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.
People reports that the couple embraced a Western-style theme for their wedding, which took place in Aspen, Colorado, and even Russell's famous parents and siblings, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, went all out in dressing for the country theme.
Russell and Hagner fell in love in 2016 while filming Folk Hero & Funny Guy. They got engaged in Colorado in 2018, with Hagner sharing on Instagram at the time: "The love of my dang life proposed to me. He is the best guy in the world."
She added, "It was an epic surprise surrounded by our closest family and I would give the proposal 5 stars on yelp!!!!!"
Hagner got her start in the entertainment industry with the role of ATWT's Liberty, which she played from 2008 to 2010. As fans of the CBS soap may recall, Liberty was the daughter that Brad Snyder (Austin Peck) never knew he had. After leaving daytime, Hagner went on to star in series like Lights Out, Men at Work, Veep, Royal Pains, Younger, and Search Party.
Russell is a former hockey player who later turned to acting when his sports career was cut short due to an injury. His credits include Escape from L.A., Soldier, Cowboys & Aliens, This is 40, and Black Mirror.
