The Bold and the Beautiful is on the hunt for a new actress to join the show, and the character description has many wondering if it might be Ivy Forrester's (Ashleigh Brewer) unseen mother.
Named Claire, the character is described as a "strong, beautiful woman who is 50-60 -- and must be Australian."
"That would be great," Brewer told Soap Opera Digest of the possibility of her alter ego's mom hitting the canvas. "We actually spoke of her yesterday on the show. We said that she was in Australia and doesn't like getting on planes very much, so we're going to have to figure out how to get her here. Maybe we can shoot a cruise or something?"
The recurring role should begin filming by late November.
