Fodé tells Soap Opera Digest that though he didn't plan on returning so soon, writer Bradley Bell penned a short story arc involving the character that proved impossible to turn down.
"This has been a fun story to come back to," he shares. "When Brad pitched it to me, I was super excited about it."
Since leaving B&B last summer, Fodé has kept himself busy launching a new app called 8secondz.
"It's really cool," Fodé enthuses. "This is a competition where fans can jump in and compete. My competition is for acting, and whoever can recreate their favorite pickup line, with the best use creativity or humor or shots or whatever, will land in the top twenty. From there, two winners will get a thirty-minute mentoring session with myself, and I can help critique it and make suggestions about how to improve it, and we both learn from the experience. And, we can also just have a conversation, too. They can ask me just about whatever they want. It's a really cool, interactive platform."
For your chance to possibly score a one-on-one chat with Fodé, all you have to do is download the free 8secondz app on your phone via iTunes, create an eight-second video of a pickup line (which can be original or re-created) and post the video on the app to gain likes. "Come on, talk to me," Fodé teases. "It'll be fun!"
Meanwhile, fans should watch for Fodé's bold, beautiful return on Friday, March 9.
