If you are one of the fans who wondered why The Bold and the Beautiful opted to recast Thomas Forrester rather than having Pierson Fodé reprise the role, it now looks like we have an answer to that question. Fodé has been preoccupied with another project that will have him going from "Bold and Beautiful" to Glamorous.
Fodé has been cast in a pilot for a new CW series called Glamorous. The pilot was created by Damon Wayans Jr., and will be directed by The Young and the Restless and Desperate Housewives alum Eva Longoria. Longoria and Wayans will also serve as executive producers. If that's not enough reason to watch, it will star Brooke Shields.
"The secret is out! I couldn't be more happy to finally announce what I'm working on," Fodé shared in a tweet.
Glamorous centers on a gender-nonconforming recent high school graduate named Marco, played by Fuller House's Ben J. Pierce, who lands the gig of a lifetime interning at a cosmetics company. Sounds great -- except that Marco panned the company's products in online videos.
Fodé will play Chad, "an ambitious alpha male who works at the cosmetics company his mother founded, styling himself as her heir apparent." Chad is openly gay, but extremely buttoned down and has a wardrobe that would be "more at home on Wall Street than the beauty industry."
What are your initial thoughts on Glamorous? Would it be a series that you'd tune in to watch? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
