Amber's ready to chat when Taylor stops by Sally's to see her. Taylor admits that Stephanie updated her and asks her what she's feeling. Amber admits that she is confused because she loves Rick and C.J. Taylor digs deeper and, without offering her opinion on whom she should be with, urges Amber to think hard about the two men in her lives. She asserts that while a lie can destroy a relationship, as it did with her and Rick, if you understand the lie, there can be forgiveness. Jonathan threatens to have Deacon arrested for extortion when he won't sign the papers but Deacon asks him about the charges for baby selling. Stephanie reminds Deacon that they are offering him more money than he's ever seen and it is his without reporting it to anyone. Adding that his son will be protected and well taken care of, Stephanie orders him to stop playing games and sign on the bottom line. Deacon's not impressed and sarcastically congratulates her on her speech. Stephanie realizes that he's been talking with Sally and stares daggers at her rival before turning back to Deacon. When Sally starts arguing with Stephanie, Deacon kicks them all out and sends Carmen upstairs to wait for him. Rick then calls Amber to let her know Deacon still has custody, news that frightens Amber.

The show began in Ridge's office where he and Stephanie discussed what's been going on with Rick, Amber and the baby. Ridge was shocked to hear that Rick went to all this trouble to stop Amber from marrying C.J. and furthermore that Stephanie supported it. Stephanie explained that Rick would have custody of Little Eric right now if it weren't for Sally's interference. Stephanie then asked Ridge if he had seen or talked to Morgan lately. Ridge replied that he had, and Stephanie questioned whether or not that was a good idea. Ridge told his mother that Morgan wasn't his concern these days, but rather Clarke Garrison was. Stephanie asked why Clarke would be a concern and questioned Ridge whether or not he believed Clarke knew the truth about the paternity of Morgan's baby. Ridge said that the way Clarke has been taunting him that he must know something. Just then Taylor came in, bringing the conversation between Stephanie and Ridge to an abrupt end.

Over at Spectra Fashions, Sally announced to Darla that she had a great new marketing campaign that would put Spectra on the map all over the world. This way they could compete with the mighty Forresters and all their money. Sally brought in the star of their new campaign, a gigantic python! Sally explained to Darla that their new line would consist of faux snake skin leather clothing and accessories. Darla reminded Sally that Clarke hated snakes and suggested that Sally give him some forewarning of their new spokesmodel. Sally questioned Clarke's whereabouts and although Darla said she couldn't be sure where he was, she had an idea that he was with Morgan DeWitt. Darla told Sally that she got a bad feeling where Morgan was concerned.

Back at Forrester Creations, Morgan filled Clarke in on her Lamaze class in which Ridge accompanied her. Morgan told a skeptical Clarke how Ridge has come to care for their unborn child and that Ridge promised to be there for the baby. Clarke believed that Ridge was simply stringing Morgan along and building her hopes up. He then offered to move in with her and help take care of her and her baby. Morgan gently turned him down, citing that she wasn't prepared to give up on Ridge. Clarke was hurt and upset that Morgan would rather accept crumbs from Ridge than allow Clarke, who is willing to give her everything, into her life. He told her that the secret about Ridge being the father of her child was bound to come out and that it would be a lot better for Morgan if it did. He urged her to stop being manipulated by Ridge and take a stand. Morgan angrily asked Clarke to leave.

Shortly thereafter, Stephanie strolled into Morgan's office without knocking. Morgan told Stephanie that she was busy and was not in the mood to talk to Stephanie. Stephanie replied that she wasn't in the mood either but that Morgan was going to hear what she had to say.

Clarke was on his way out of the Forrester building but as he passed Ridge's office, he couldn't resist going in. Ridge tried to get Clarke to leave, but Clarke told Ridge that the game was over. He knows the truth. Ridge questioned Clarke as to what he meant by that comment. Clarke went over to Ridge's desk, sat down and put his feet up and told Ridge that the jig was up. He knows who the father of Morgan's baby is. "I own you Ridge Forrester," replied Clarke. Stephanie confronted Morgan in her office about and how much Clarke Garrison knew about the true paternity of Morgan's child. Morgan assured Stephanie that she hadn't told anyone, including Clarke, the truth about who fathered her child. Stephanie told Morgan that she didn't believe her, nor did she trust her. Morgan said that she didn't want to hurt Ridge or his family and promised to keep the secret. Stephanie warned Morgan that she would be keeping an eye on her.

Clarke continued to taunt Ridge about Morgan's child. Ridge attempted to call his bluff, not certain if Clarke really knew the truth or if he was just trying to rile him. Ridge tried to throw Clarke out but Clarke started explaining the story of how Morgan got pregnant. He told Ridge he knew about the email Morgan sent to Ridge, pretending to be Taylor, and then taunted him for not checking the legitimacy of the email with his wife. Ridge tried to explain that Morgan set him up but Clarke wasn't buying it. He told Ridge that he didn't have to sleep with Morgan, but he chose to. Ridge asked Clarke what he wanted from him and Clarke said that he was tired of standing by and letting Ridge and his mother use and manipulate Morgan. Ridge tried appealing to Clarke saying that he loved his wife and his children and wanted to protect them from getting hurt. Clarke reminded Ridge that he should have thought about his wife and kids before sleeping with another woman. Clarke gloated that he knew the secret to destroy Ridge's entire world. He said that Taylor would never forgive him for lying to her for months and that once the secret was exposed, Ridge would never see his wife or kids again. Ridge couldn't take any more and punched Clarke, knocking him onto the desk. Then Ridge stormed out, leaving Clarke to grin from ear to ear over getting a rise out of Ridge.

Ridge burst into Morgan's office and began to berate her for telling Clarke the truth. Morgan stood there speechless. She attempted to deny it but it soon became obvious to her that Clarke had spilled the beans. Ridge couldn't believe Morgan would break his trust once again and he vowed never to forgive her.

At the Forrester guest house, Rick tried to reassure Amber that Deacon was just trying to manipulate them and that his only interest was in the money, not the baby. Amber panicked that this horrible man could take away Little Eric. Rick promised Amber that he would do whatever it took to protect Little Eric and convince Deacon to sign over his custodial rights. Rick called Deacon and put him on speaker phone. He told Deacon that he wanted to do the deal today and they could negotiate a price. Deacon informed Rick that he was not in the mood to deal today and told Rick that if he didn't stop pressuring him, Deacon might keep the baby. Amber heard this and screamed that he couldn't do that. After Deacon told Rick that he would be in touch with his price, Amber took off to take care of this matter herself.

Over at the Lair, Amber knocked on Deacon's door and persuaded him to let her in to talk. She tried to appeal to Deacon to do what was best for Little Eric, but Deacon said that as long as he got his money, he didn't care what happened to the kid. Amber asked him why he just didn't sign over custody and take the money that the Forresters were offering. Deacon said he knew he could get double that, and more. He then told Amber that her time was up and he shoved her toward the doorway. Amber asked him to hold on a minute because she wasn't done talking yet. Deacon said that she had nothing to offer and he was tired of listening. Amber replied that she had something to offer that neither Rick or C.J. could. Hearing that, Deacon was intrigued and allowed her to stay.
