Brooke boasts to Stephanie that the more she worries about her intentions toward Ridge, the more she realizes that Stephanie's fears are confirming her hopes. Stephanie claims that Brooke is confusing lust for love but Brooke denies it and declares that she doesn't have to justify her actions to Stephanie or anyone else. Brooke then states that she won't understand because she knows Stephanie never followed her heart. Shown the altered photos of Brooke with Ridge, Stephanie suggests that Brooke's office is like a bordello now that the bed is back and Brooke is wearing only lingerie. After Brooke leaves, Stephanie is caught off guard to see Massimo. Quickly talking about Brooke, Massimo urges his old friend not to worry about it. At Las Olas, Amber and Deacon are surprised to find that Bridget and Rick have arranged for a double lunch date. Sitting down together, the topic of conversation turns to Brooke and Ridge. Amber claims to understand Brooke's viewpoint where Ridge is concerned after noticing how Ridge touches her and talks to her. Rick admits that if he thinks about it from his mother's point of view, he can understand why she would want to be with Ridge but Bridget quickly reminds her brother that Brooke should be able to control herself in spite of her feelings. When the waitress takes their order, Bridget and Rick notice that Amber and Deacon have ordered the same items from the menu. As Amber downs her second margarita, Rick lets slip that he's hoping Amber soon becomes pregnant.

Stephanie goes on and on to Massimo about Brooke trying to destroy her son's family. He stops her and asks what happened to the girl he knew in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Massimo mentions his family's hope that they would marry especially after they both attended Northwestern University. He then suggests that deciding to marry Eric because she was pregnant has led to the change he notices in her. A frantic Taylor complains to Eric that Brooke is determined to have Ridge all to herself. He counters that he's disgusted to see that Massimo is back in town. When Megan calls with a warning, Eric rushes to Stephanie's office. He overhears Massimo badmouthing him and punches his rival. A bloodied Massimo warns Eric he's made a terrible mistake. At Las Olas Amber asks Rick why he's changed his mind about having another child so soon. He claims that it's the perfect time because of Little Eric's age but Amber argues that there is no "perfect" time and then reminds him that he's still in college. Deacon pipes up that they should wait and just have some fun. Amber tries to end the conversation but Bridget hints that she's also considering getting pregnant. Deacon quickly reminds her that they just got married. Alone later, Deacon pushes Amber to assert that she doesn't want to be pregnant.

In Stephanie's office, the fight went on between Eric and Massimo. Eric was incensed that the man was talking about him behind his back with his wife when Eric had made it clear that he should stay away from the Forrester family. Massimo proceeded to blame Eric for all the troubles that Brooke has caused for the family and defame him for having a relationship with that "young woman" while he was married to Stephanie. Stephanie stepped in telling Massimo not to lambaste her husband about issues that they worked out long ago. Eric refused to waste any more time on this - he left his wife alone with Massimo in order to attend a meeting. . .

Outside Ridge's office Taylor insisted on seeing her husband. Just as Ridge was questioning the effectiveness of Brooke's new ad campaign, Taylor barged her way in. He dismissed his staff and tried to listen to his wife. She was frantic - screaming that he must cut Brooke out of his life forever and ever in order to save their children, family and marriage. Ridge wanted to know what happened this time - Taylor was vague about a specific incident. It was everything that Brooke has ever done and will do in the future. She couldn't be trusted and he didn't have a choice but to get rid of her somehow. Ridge insisted that he had no choice but to work with her - they were involved with a major project and it would be over in a few weeks. Taylor lost her senses, screaming that she couldn't believe what he was doing to them. She ran out of the room in a frenzy. . .

Brooke had been listening in the foyer, talking with Megan about what this could mean for her and Ridge. Perhaps Taylor was seeing the inevitable - that she and Ridge were meant to be together - the feelings were definitely there. It was just a matter of time. Ridge followed his wife out the door, but didn't leave the foyer - Megan made a hasty exit and Brooke came out of the shadows to taunt Ridge about the fight he'd had with his wife. She asked if Taylor was driving him crazy because he was driving her crazy whenever she thought about them together. He told her to be serious, but she WAS serious. She didn't make any bones about what she wanted to happen between them very soon. . .

Stephanie received a frantic call from Taylor - she promised to take care of it once and for all and to call Taylor back when she knew something. Massimo overheard the conversation and offered to free the Forresters from Brooke forever - just say the word. Stephanie was desperate - she would love it if he could help in any way at all as they hugged each other. . . .
