Are The Bold and the Beautiful's Buckingham sisters on their way back?

It's been years since the Buckingham clan has been front and center on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, Dr. Grace Buckingham's desperate attempt to rescue her daughters by scamming Liam and Bill has us wondering if the Buckingham sisters are about to make their L.A. comeback.

Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) arrived on the Los Angeles fictional fashion scene as the ex-girlfriend of Xander Avant, who was dating Emma Barber (Nia Sioux). Zoe wanted Xander (Adain Bradley) back, but eventually set her sights on Thomas Forrester. Eventually, Zoe's dad, Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), arrived. That's where the trouble truly began.

Reese seemed like a fine upstanding obstetrician, but he was one with a serious gambling problem. With those he owed money to threatening his daughter, Reese told Hope (Annika Noelle) her baby had died and sold her to Taylor Hayes (then played by Hunter Tylo), so Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could adopt the newborn. Eventually, the truth came out, and Reese went to jail, but Zoe stuck around.

To make Hope jealous, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) began to romance Zoe and even nearly married her until she learned what Thomas was really up to. When Zoe's sister, Paris (Diamond White), moved to L.A., she struck up a friendship with Thomas, but had her eyes on Zende (Delon De Metz), as did Zoe. Not wanting to compete with her perfect sister, Zoe left town.

Paris soon became indispensable to everyone at Forrester Creations. She nearly married Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) against her mother's wishes. Grace knew that Carter wasn't really in love with Carter. Even after Carter left Paris at the altar, Grace decided to stay in town, but Paris ended up in Paris — with Thomas.

The Bold and the Beautiful drops Buckingham hints

The last time we saw Paris, she returned from Europe engaged to Thomas. Whether they actually married or not, we still don't know. With Grace now at the forefront, paying her ex-husband's gambling debts to protect her daughters, it feels like Paris is due to return to Los Angeles with or without Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Thomas. Would Zoe be far behind?

The Buckingham sisters could certainly shake things up for Hope and Carter, considering the fact that he was once involved with both of them. Now that Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton) are growing close again, she might find that she is better off going back to the beginning.

Grace is about to be persona non grata to Hope and Liam now that the truth about his fake tumor is out, but that doesn't mean her daughters can't return to fight their mother's battles and stir up their own brand of chaos.
