Nick used to be dashing, sarcastic, and hot, but lately he's been written as nothing more than an over-the-top, horny SOB who can't use protection or think beyond his next sexual impulse.

I watched the week's worth of shows again tonight to make sure I wasn't actually watching shows from a couple of years ago when Bridget found out that Nick had slept with her mother. But alas, it wasn't and yes, Bridget once again was betrayed by her beloved Nick. Maybe deva vu is more real than we would like to think, huh?

It's almost exactly the same as what happened before and this time we have the two-time loser in Dr. Bridget-Miracle Worker going on about how she saved Katie only to be turned on, etc. Katie stands there and says the same things Brooke said years ago but I noticed one thing that was different. I'm thinking that the writers are going to have Bridget become more hard and icy. I gotta say that if this is the new direction, I like it. I have never been a big fan of Bridget at all but I think mostly because she has always been stuck in the whiny victim role and allowing herself to be a doormat puppy-dogging around after Nick when it was clear he didn't love her. Now she had a vengeful and pissed off look that she never had before. I hope she leaves Nick in the dust and the producers have some hot hunk come in and make her a stronger character to watch.

Nick, on the other hand, is becoming more and more of a PIG everyday and I can't stand it! I have loved his character from the moment he turned around in that desk chair and greeted Brooke. He was dashing, sarcastic, and HOT but lately he's been written as nothing more than an over-the-top horny SOB that can't use protection or think beyond his next sexual impulse. It's too bad really...as a strong male lead there could be so much more they could have done with him. He's impregnated HOW many women now?? He keeps ping-ponging back and forth all around the women of this cast and keeps messing up over and over. I used to think that the readers that would write me saying that Nick was becoming the male version of Brooke were crazy or reaching a little but now...I'm not so sure. Every scene he is in these days involves him doing something stupid or sleeping with someone he shouldn't.

As for Katie, well who knows if she'll even be able to have the kid to begin with. We all know there will be some kind of last minute crisis and she'll either have the baby but slip into a coma during the delivery or she'll lose it. Nick will be guilt-ridden and will wait til the last possible minute to admit he is in love with Katie. Actually, I would rather see him grow a set, go to Katie and tell her he loves her and wants to be with her throughout the pregnancy. He'd finally be doing the 'right' thing for once and he may actually redeem himself a little. I think he and Bridget were always wrong for each other (as written) and think that he and Katie could make quite the scorching couple. But with the good 'ol 'Infidelity' twist he always seems to cause, the coupling will not work in the eyes of viewers.

Well, I'd say Donna is done for. One look at the tonsil hockey between her and Owen sealed the deal and Stephanie will be moving back in no time. Another marriage going down the toilet and I'm sure there will be a nasty divorce around the corner with slick Owen propping up the grieving ex-wife throughout. Quite a shocker to see all that after waking up from a coma, though...YIKES!

And who knew that washing someone's feet would usher in a miracle through the window?

Touching scene at the bedside though I was a little confused about why there was suddenly so much focus on Thorne and his feelings of inadequacy as the lesser known Forrester son. I thought all that had been resolved years ago? And I still don't understand why all these big things happen to their family and no one calls Kristen to be there? A wedding she comes to...someone's grave or deathbed, never. Very weird.

I'll say this, though...I'm glad Eric woke up. This show wouldn't be the same without him and he's a great actor, period. It'll be interesting to see if he goes back to Stephanie and if he'll even be alright after all that's happened. But welcome back big 'E'!
