On The Bold and the Beautiful, Destiny is due to be realigned. All the signs are there, and the Italy trip looks to be productive for everyone not named Taylor Hayes.

The Bold and the Beautiful goes to Italy

As The Bold and the Beautiful jets off to Italy, fans are gearing up for the magical air to build a Bridge over the Mediterranean Sea to the inevitable land of Destiny. Just like some of Brooke’s closest friends and family, we know the signs: we think we’re on the cusp of yet another Brooke and Ridge reunion. Yep, this is going to be one very short engagement for Ridge and Taylor, even by soap standards.

Ridge is heading to Capri with Brooke and Eric — and Nick Marone in tow. Read that again and tell me how that can’t end in disaster. There is no scenario where Ridge comes home without a Logan on his arm and tears in Taylor's eyes.

It might be painful for some to watch the 187th round of this ping pong match, but this betrayal of Ridge’s word, his love, and Taylor’s heart, will be the deepest cut. Taylor had only recently been diagnosed with Broken Heart Syndrome, and her recovery only happened with the help of Ridge — yet here we go again.

Ridge wrecks it again

Sunpearson wrote, “Ridge hates his brother and he isn’t going to like her going to Nick for help. She’s going to pull a Fred Sanford this time and fake a heart attack. Poor Taylor…Poor always left in the dust Taylor!!”

Teaday13, “oh hardly a scheme - then Brooke's scheme to have Nick come along if Ridge doesn't choose her now”

Matt58 replied, “Shes not trying to move on. Shes playing brother against brother, using Nick to make Ridge jealous like she did with Grant, with Thorne and with James. Pathetic, really.”

RedheadTeacher commented, “I am sure that Taylor will be reamed out for asking Nick to keep an eye out on Brooke while they're in Italy. Ridge will see is as manipulation and use it to justify his dumping her for Brooke. Somehow, however, because Nick is stupid enough to have forgotten that Brooke will never be happy to settle with him, her using his attention to manipulate Ridge is justified. It's irritating that Nick, despite his multiple, unannounced, drop-ins at Forrester offices, never manages to witness Brooke's begging and pleading of Ridge to be with her.”

Redheadteacher also added, “That would be OK if Brooke actually planned to "move one", but she has no intention of doing that. She's only entertaining Nick's attention because she wants it to bother Ridge as all of her begging and telling him she's forgiven him hasn't worked. Maybe she should try asking him for forgiveness for her casual dismissive attitude towards Hope's attitude and participation in the coup, the thing that actually caused Ridge to walk out on her.”
