On The Bold and the Beautiful, is Bill Spencer the patron saint of lost causes? The case in point has a name: Luna — and despite Bill’s intentions, she is sure to cause repercussions for him, his family, and the family name.
Luna’s new life on The Bold and the Beautiful

After framing her mom, Poppy (Romy Park), Luna (Lisa Yamada) was found to be the killer of Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers). She was arrested, charged, and convicted of double murder. She had also kidnapped (and was going to kill) Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), her cousin Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) wife. But Luna had also swapped and tainted a paternity test to convince Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that he was her biological father.

Convinced they had a connection, Luna wrote letters to Bill from prison and eventually convinced him that their common bond of poor parenting was a real issue. Bill somehow championed her early release, and now Luna, sporting a swanky ankle trinket, lives large in a gorgeous mansion.
Luna sets her own goals

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Bill listened to Luna explain how she altered the tests to trick everyone into thinking she was his daughter and still fondly considered him to be that role in her life. Bill clarified that he would help her reform but firmly said Luna would never be a Spencer. Given the way she looked at Will’s (Crew Morrow) photo, you can bet she has a plan to overcome that obstacle.

Luna assured Bill that she realized how Bill had gone out on a limb for her and promised not to disappoint him. But this is Luna we’re talking about. Despite being told no one could know she was there, Luna lurks in the shadows, listening to Bill’s conversations with Will when he visits. She leaves her stuff lying around and is in plain view if anyone walks into the mansion (which, until lately, they did often).
It’s really only a matter of time before Will walks in — or back in after they think that he left, and it was all clear for Luna to be in the living room. When Will stumbles upon Luna, she and Bill will have to tell him the truth of why she is there. Will Bill’s explanation and Luna’s grateful attitude be enough for Will to keep their secret?
Will cares about Bill and would be concerned that he’s being suckered in again by Luna. He also might be convinced to see her from the perspective that his dad has, and choose to get to know her better. Either way, if he’s around then Luna will be working on him.
Does Luna grind your gears, or is she the villain we need right now? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
