Is this how The Bold and the Beautiful's Daphne finally lands Carter?

The Bold and the Beautiful's Daphne Rose has a one-track mind. She is determined to make Carter Walton hers, but she has one major obstacle in the way — his obsession with Hope Logan.

The Bold and the Beautiful's Carter misunderstands it all

Currently, Carter is giving Hope the time she needs to figure out a way to trust him again. She is still smarting after he handed back Forrester Creations to their rightful owners, Eric and Ridge. Not walking out when Steffy canceled Hope For The Future was the straw that broke the camel's back for Hope, but she is finally listening to Carter and willing to consider a reunion.

However, Hope is also about to get news that shocks her to her core. Her ex-husband, Liam, is dying from an inoperable brain tumor. This news will likely make Hope want to spend as much time with Liam as possible, and they are bound to share some pretty close moments.

If Carter witnesses one of those close moments, he could misinterpret it, thinking that Hope is gravitating back to Liam. Feeling rejected and dejected, weak Carter will be ripe for whatever magic Daphne works with her intoxicating perfume. There is something about her fragrance that hypnotizes Carter.

He has already succumbed to Daphne's advances by responding to her kisses. It wouldn't take much for Carter to fall into bed with Daphne, making all of the perfume queen's dreams come true.

Carter's big oops

Since Liam insists on keeping his condition a secret, Carter would have no way of knowing that Hope and Liam's newfound closeness is not of the romantic type. He would be joining a long list of B&B men who jump to the wrong conclusions and end up in bed with the wrong woman.

Hope even experienced this herself back in 2020 when Thomas believed a mannequin was Hope and dated her in his apartment. When Liam walked in and saw Thomas kiss the mannequin, he believed Thomas was kissing the real Hope and hopped into bed with Steffy to drown his sorrows. Boy, was Liam humiliated when he learned he had mistaken a mannequin for his wife.

Once Carter sleeps with Daphne, someone is bound to walk in on the moment and report back to Hope. Perhaps someone will even be Hope. She has been through this so many times with Liam and Steffy that she should be used to it by now, but it will just bring on a new heartache that could end Hope and Carter forever.
