At the house of Spencer, Luna claims to be remorseful of those bad things she did and tells Finn she knows she’s responsible for her mistakes and can’t blame her parents or lack thereof. Luna pondered what sort of impact a father would have had on her life. Finn just said, “I wish I had known. I didn’t know.” Finn was surprised to hear how Luna had ended up on house arrest at the Spencer Mansion and how Bill had pulled in some favors. Luna wished Bill could be her dad even though he wasn't. Finn surprised Luna when he said that Tom Starr was not her dad. Luna lamented how different her life would have been if she had a role model who loved her. You know, someone like Finn. Finn told her that all her life she had wanted to be able to look her father in the eye, and this was the moment she had been waiting for. Finn told Luna that he was her father.

It runs in the family

At the cliff house, Steffy and Taylor talked about recent growth in the Finnegan family tree and how the recurring case of elm disease was a problem. Taylor blamed Finn for putting Steffy and the kids in danger by being related to yet another murderous killer. Steffy told Taylor that Finn could not control who he was related to. Taylor tried to tell Steffy that Finn should have owned up to the night with Poppy long before now. Steffy argued that Finn felt bad enough about all of this and for putting her in the position she was in now. Taylor tapped into her decades of training and reminded Steffy that Sheila's psycho blood ran in Hayes’s veins, too. Steffy told her mom that she wasn’t helping her stress level, but Taylor insisted that Steffy needed to be forewarned just in case. Taylor insisted they weren’t safe anymore and wanted Steffy to move the kids the Forrester mansion for a while.

Kiss? What kiss

From the doorway, Hope watched Daphne and Carter peel themselves off each other. Daphne thought she may have gone a little too far, but told him that she wanted to kiss him from the first moment they saw each other. Daphne suggested it was time she headed back to Paris and said, “Au revoir, Carter Walton,” in her sultry, seductive best. Carter was deep in thought of their forbidden kiss as he sniffed the ribbon she had left behind when Hope came in and blankly asked Carter how his talk with Daphne had gone.
