Lisa Yamada shared a post with her followers, captioned that she “had the most special, inspiring start to Mental Health Awareness Month last Thursday at the #2025NamiWLAGala with @namicommunicate

“[M]ental health advocacy has been at the core of my beliefs for as long as i can remember. this work is especially meaningful to me, as i've witnessed the effects of mental illness firsthand. a couple years ago, my therapist introduced me to NAMI and the support groups they offer to help me feel less alone in the challenges i was navigating. ever since then, their mission has become deeply personal to me and i'm so grateful to be an ambassador for an organization that played a part in my own healing.

[I]f things are feeling heavy, please check out nami.org, call 1-800-950-NAMI (6264), or text NAMI to 62640. if you're in a crisis, you can always call or text 988 for 24/7 help. mental illness can feel isolating — whether you’re facing it yourself or watching someone you love go through it. NAMI has so many resources to remind you that you're not alone.”

Today, May 15th, is Mental Health Action Day. From the B&B sister show, The Young and the Restless, actors Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson), Mark Grossman (Adam Newman), and Judah Mackey (Connor Newman) took action in a PSA for mental health advocacy for kids.
