On The Bold and the Beautiful, Cassandra Creech is Dr. Grace Buckingham, a doctor who has saved lives and made sense of traumatic events, like Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) broken heart syndrome. Grace is currently working to save Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) through his battle with what was an inoperable mass, and as a shooting victim at the hands of Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

Now, Creech has a cause of her own to champion and is turning to her fans for help. On Instagram, she shared a GoFundMe campaign to help her mom rebuild after a fire.

Creech captioned, “Built of grace and determination, my mom is a devoted woman of service to her community, but now, she desperately needs your help. Help us repair her home of 60 years.”

The GoFundMe page describes that Creech’s mom, Carolyn, lost her home to a fire, leaving her vulnerable and scared. She is asking people to help her rebuild her life by restoring her home and legacy. “Every dollar counts,” she added. The story also notes that sharing can also help, with a link to repost.

The fire damage was extensive

On YouTube, Creech also shared photos of Carolyn’s home and the damage caused by the fire. The pictures of the damage are extensive, but for validity to the plea for donations, they also posted the repair estimate, including information about the company doing the quote. Hashtagged with phrases like “through the fire,” “rise again,” and “a daughter’s love,” Creech is hopeful to reach their goal.

To give context of who the fundraising is for, there is also a YouTube video about Carolyn Creech. “Fierce Grace, Hummingbird Herder, Prayer Warrior, Peaceful Warrior, Flower Whisperer, Cooking Queen, Sweet Wisdom, Animal Angel, Doubtless Determination, That Joy in the Morning...This is my mom, Carolyn Creech,” she put in the description.
