What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told Liam (Scott Clifton) that now that he is going to survive both his gunshot and his brain mass, she needs some time to process everything that has happened. From finding Liam unconscious, getting his fatal diagnosis, holding his secret — and then nearly dying because of Luna (Lisa Yamada), Steffy needs a break.

When visiting Liam at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) house last Friday, she told Liam she was taking the kids and leaving town for a little while. But where is she going?

Steffy said that she and Finn (Tanner Novlan) had talked about her plan, but had she told anyone else? And with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric (John McCook) in Italy — who does that leave in charge of Forrester Creations?

Meanwhile, Bill has had a huge comeuppance. He had taken such a firm stance on his relationship with Luna, and how much he wanted to believe she had reformed. Not only was she the same, but he gave up on being part of her life and influence when he had her pardoned. Luna had begged him for help, and he told her to leave town.

On her own, Luna faltered as one door after another closed on her, until she found a target for her disappointment and rage: Steffy. Because of Bill's involvement in a situation he wasn’t as qualified for as he once believed, he nearly lost his son. Now that the dust has settled and he can see the past clearly, Bill is dealing with some rare emotions, like a lot of guilt.

Eric, Ridge, and Brooke head to Italy, and Nick has Brooke anticipating some good times in the Mediterranean, regardless of whether or not she can win over Ridge while they’re there. But Taylor isn’t looking forward to their trip as much as Brooke is. Taylor kisses Ridge goodbye, hoping that it won’t be the last time she does so, and that her fiancé (and her engagement) will still be intact when he returns.
