Why Daphne Rose returns on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, this week we see the return of Daphne Rose to our favorite fake L.A. How will Carter react seeing her return — and why, after her dramatic exit — is she back?

The “Nose” returns on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, when Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) came to L.A., she was there at Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) request, with one mission: to seduce Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and break up the power couple of him and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Daphne took to the mission like a duck to water, and it wasn’t long before her French accent and designer perfumes had Carter floating on cloud nine and getting grounded by locking lips with the fragrance designer. However, it wasn’t to be. Daphne tried her best but ultimately found the one man on earth who could resist her charms.

This week, on Wednesday, July 23rd, Daphne Rose is back. It remains to be seen if what brings her to town is more than for business. If she doesn’t know already, she will likely hear about the crisis involving Liam — and how Hope has been deeply involved in it. The Daphne we know would be wondering where that leaves Carter.

Is this her time to waft in like her signature scent and steal the man out from under Hope's nose? With Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Eric (John McCook) off to Italy for a Forrester Creations promotion, perhaps she is part of it. But even a glimpse of Daphne, regardless if she’s back to stay, might be enough for Carter to realize he’s missed her.

Potential love triangle?

Of course, we don’t know whether or not Daphne is back to resume her role at Forrester Creations in L.A. or if she’s just there to visit. Maybe she should settle down for a while and see what happens. Zende (Delon de Metz) has been needing a storyline — and a lovelife — for a while now. And nothing would spark some jealousy like seeing someone who got away with another man (and it’s not like Carter and Zende haven’t sparred over a woman before!).

No matter what Daphne is doing in town, there is one thing for sure: If Carter doesn’t play his cards right, he could be in for another reckoning by his fiancée’s father. If having the nose back in L.A. leads to another showdown with Carter and a Cobra Kai moment in the boardroom, then we are there for that, with popcorn.
